before i get into that, i must say i'm so happy to finally get in touch with Susan (comet_lily) after all these months. Thank you Steph! that made my day. now onto my little rant on projects and hw.

[warning: The following rant you are about to read has a decent amount of cursing and a lot of project/hw bashing. Continue at your own risk.]

i have so many projects to do that its starting to get on my nerves. i have to finish a magazine by wednesday night, my own alphabet asap along with the book that contains the alphabet. not only that, i have to make a book for all my observational pictures i have taken this semester. i have to revise all my advertisements, along with make a book of all my drawings from drawing class, read a book for a paper due in a week and a half, make a Thanksgiving book (of what i did on thanksgiving weekend) and a new book with pictures and short stories. AND on top of ALL that, i have to make a PORTFOLIO BOOK, consisting some art pieces from all my classes to show the dean. I HATE HAVING SO MANY FUCKIN PROJECTS! *proceeds to scream at the top of lungs and cursing left and right*

*coughs*

*crickets*

[end of rant]

on a better note, i celebrated my friend Becky's (to Susan: this is a different Becky, she's my classmate at school) 20th birthday yesterday. First off, i forgot to preorder a birthday cake for her, so i improvised and bought her a little chocolate cake (like 4 inches in diameter) and ran around 23rd street trying to find birthday candles. stupid Duane Reade didnt have candles, so i had to go to Walgreen's. i went up to her dorm, chilled before headin to the Mezzenine (i know i spelled that wrong; its the 2nd floor) and played pool. she won lol then we went back upstairs. i gave her the 'birthday cake' and we lit 2 candles since i didnt want to put 20 candles on such a small little cake. i snapped away as she blew out the candles. then i stated, 'its gift time!' i gave her a snowflake hole puncher, a marine scrapbook emblem (sp?) (her boyfriend is in the marines), and 29 color sharpie markers. dude, she was so freakin happy that she was jumping on her bed, then off the bed, then dancing all over the place, geeeez. i didnt know if she would ever stop!! she was grinning like theres no tomorrow and squealed the whole time. well, i'm glad she liked it haha.

the weather in NY this week has been on the chilly side, but it has gotten a little warmer. which is good. i dont like the cold. ah! recently, in the past 3 weeks, me and my other friend Tina, have been going to a new restaurant in Manhattan every Thursday together. we'd do research and check out the place and of course the food. first place we went to was Minado, an all-you-can-eat sushi buffet *squeals* and other japanese dishes. that was a little pricy = $15 per person plus small tip. The following week we went to a Korean restaurant called KumGangSan in K-town (aka Korean town). the food was really really good! this time it was not as pricy = $10 plus tip. this past thursday, we went to what we thought was Oh! Taisho, a Japanese restaurant, but unknowningly, we walked into the wrong set of glass doors. Understand that we saw the sign, and noticed that it had glass doors, but we didnt know that the restaurant next to it also had glass doors, so we walked into the neighboring restaurant. we didnt even see the sign that there was another restaurant! anyways, the place was called Klong, and served Thai food which was SO GOOD! and not only that, the price was excellent = $6 including main gourmet dish and a free appetizer. we were really happy with our little mistake. unfortunately as we were walking up the stairs, Tina tripped up the stairs. she's ok thank goodness. we went into the Soho area window shopping to relax and not think bout all the hw we had to do. afterwards she had to go do work and i had to go to class. bummer.

for those who may not know, i have a British guy friend name Alex. y'no, tall, slim, British accent, talented family, good-looking, and taken (sorry ladies lol). anyways, i found out that he's transferring to LA, which made me really really really sad. he's one of only 2 guy friends i have there! i tried to talk him out of it, but he's following thru. if he's happy, then i'm glad. i'm just gonna miss him a lot. i told him he must keep in touch with me or else. lol

i went to see Ryan at NJIT today. i intended on stayin there from 9ish to about 1, but i ended staying til 3ish. considering i wont be going to NJIT to see him in the following month due to my heavy work load, i wanted to spend as much time as i possibly could. it was nice and relaxing. i was really happy to spend time with him again. he'll be coming up to the city to visit me in the following weeks which is nice of him.

cuz of my load of work, i cant make it to Becky Lake's birthday party on the 8th of April. im so upset that i couldnt go. shes sad, but she understands that i have a lot of work and school does come first. i'll be sending her the birthday gift via mail.

alright im gonna get sucked into chinese soap operas for the next hour. then i'm gonna do hw. or do both at the same time...mmm multi-tasking.

ciao!
