Max had spent some time on the mainland since he arrived in Fandom exploring the various night spots, and he'd discovered that while there was no Aleran equivalent for jazz or swing dancing, they were quite enjoyable.
He hoped that Aphrodite agreed because otherwise the night might be rather more lame than he was aiming for.
Things started off right, at least. As he walked into the establishment he got a couple of looks just for being such a big guy, but then Aphrodite came in after him and the room went silent. Even the band forgot to play.
