tell the artist, don't tell me! >.>

The internet ships.... Jack Handy/Mayuri. It's the ship for all occasions!

Now, I won't lie, the comments keep me going. Though, honestly, I'd write with or without them. I'm not the best writer, so mostly, I write without comments.

They are just nice to get. But not my whole purpose. What a tool!

No, I totally hear you. Comments are amazing to get, and I would say everyone posts their fic online because they'd like people to comment (ideally) -- but writing and posting are two different things. I just get really angry when ficcers are represented in the media by the likes of Missy Whatsherface.

I'm totally agreeing with you. Bimbolina over there telling the world that we do it for the 'fan mail' and not simply because we love telling stories really pisses me off.

I wish that Story Telling like they did in the old days was still a profession, I'd be travelling from city to city.

Have a great Christmas!

I think comments are amazing and they're definitely great for a writer to get, but I don't write for them, and I hope others don't, either. But.. fan mail? I mean, I won't even be presumptuous enough to call anyone a "fan", forget calling comments "fan mail". Sounds very... teeny bob. ;)

And happy holidays!

Yeah, it's one thing when someone says "I'm a fan of [insert fandom writer/artist]"; it's quite another when the writer/artist herself refers to people who read/look at her work as "fans". Because yeah, presumptuous and just icky.

Whee, happy holidays! :D

Strangely enough I recently did post pics on my cat in Xmas clothes. She was not exactly happy... XD

Hope you have a great day!

Aww, kittens were not made for clothes! :D I'm sure she'll forgive you one day.

Thank you -- I hope you have a wonderful day, too! <3
