Nail 002 - FORGIVE ME, MISS LITCHI! [action]

Feb 14, 2011 03:12

[Bang was settling in to his now-daily grind in Mayfield. Wake up, check mail, head off to work to sell the inspiring tales of comic book heroes to those who were in need of adventure in their lives! While he could not do much for the citizens of the town who were trapped here, at least not yet, anyhow... Inspiring others wit that heroic spirit was something he could get behind! However, today was... odd. One, there was a package for him, bearing only the words "Happy Valentines' Day! on it...]

A package... for me? On this holiday? There can only be ONE EXPLANATION! MISS LITCHI HAS FORGIVEN ME FOR... WHATEVER I DID WITH THAT LADY THAT CLAIMS TO BE MY WIFE! Ohh... be still, my beating heart : for the day of destiny has finally come at hand! I shouldn't open this out in public, though! They might get a little jealous. While this is a holiday for lovers, There is only one heavenly goddess! Ahh~ Litchi~ I can already hear the romantic music swelling up when I think of you! Do not fret, for BANG SHISHIGAMI will continue his search for you in this town!

[He continues on his way to the Comic Book Shop for his daily grind...only to find it closed. He still goes in anyhow, forgetting to lock the door behind him.]

Well... I do suppose this is a holiday of sorts... but where will all those go who don't have their lover? Where will those go that got shot down by their dream date, in need of guidance and assistance? Ah... these are questions for another time...my densi...err... destiny awaits!

[He hastily unwraps the package only to find... nothing? His expression is bordering on tears...How cruel...]

What an unexpected twist of fate! Is this some kind of practical joke? Some kind of morbid symbolism put together by those who frown upon true love? Is this someone telling me to give up? Well, I've got news for them: Bang Shishigami never says "die!"

[suddenly, an influx of memories...all about a strange girl named Elly...what a wonderful name, Elly. Not as beautiful as Litchi, but it had its own endearing charm to it. From his "recollection", all he remembered was that she was a beautiful girl... one he remembers saving the life of.]

She was the only one who ever really thanked me like that...Such a shame I could never reciprocate the way she wanted. I would never forgive myself if I betrayed my feelings like that!

[He'll put the box aside, and began to meditate. The shop was quiet enough to do so, and he felt like he needed a moment, at this point.
