Attention whores

There are two types of people who annoy me greatly. Drama queens and attention whores. Granted, most drama queens are attention whores, but in my mind, they are two very distinct groups. Drama queens kick up attention by making a fuss over things, then turn them very dramatic very quickly. Attention whores, on the other hand, will make a statement with the aim of getting attention, but will only give half the story, making their problem seem infinitely worse than it really is. They get advise from caring others based on half the story. Then, they turn around and say, "oh, the problem's not that bad. Here's the rest of the story."

Please. If your horse won't drink from his bucket but will drink from the creek, don't tell us he's not drinking at all, and then bemoan your inability to make him drink anything.
