Crazy Frog - Crazy Hits
Gut records
0/10

Novelty records. Nobody likes them, or at least they don't admit to it, so WHY are they still released? One suggestion is that sometimes people enjoy deliberately trying to irritate other people. I've done it, you probably have, and whoever (for their sake, don't tell me their name) thought up the whole Crazy Frog thing has taken it many, many steps too far and managed to annoy millions of people. Somehow it's making them very rich. It's not fair, is it?

The album largely consists of terrible cover versions, with irritating noises provided by the frog over the top. To describe something as "a challenging listen" would normally imply that the artist has attempted many ideas that are difficult to take in at one sitting, but even with ideas nowhere in sight, this album offers challenges; 'Listen to the whole thing without switching it off' and 'Do not smash this album'. For your own sake, fail these challenges. The CD contains extras though! Maybe these will save it! Maybe not. All of them are irritating, even with the sound off, and the game is really poor, especially if you've ever played ANY game, computer-based or otherwise at any point in your life. Even the album inlay smells bad.

I won't bore you by slating every track one by one, but I'll pick out the one that best represents the album. Track 16, 'Crazy Sounds', is the worst thing I have ever heard. You could make a nicer sound by hurling a guitar into a cement mixer. The one redeeming feature of this track is that it brings to a close forty-eight minutes and three seconds of 'music' that shouldn't exist. If you have £10 or so spare when this is released, please investigate other options before buying this.

Oh, and before I forget, it doesn't even look like a frog.

I am aware of the errors, but I haven't edited it down yet so don't be too pedantic!

In other news, it's raining a LOT here. The weather had better pick up for the remainder of my two weeks off work!

Oh, and one more thing- does anyone know how to edit the format and colours of a myspace page? Cheers!
