So, I guess you could say a lot is happening/has happened in the past few weeks. Biggest news: I found a place to live. There is a lady moving to NYC for at least a year and wants someone to live in her, fully furnished, three bedroom home (all she is taking with her is clothes and pictures) close to everything, including downtown Atl, and cute other towns. It's farther in distance from work, but it will take less time because I'll be going against traffic. The rent is a little more than I had originally planned to spend, but it will be a good learning experience to have to budget and have faith that God will take care of me if I'm a good steward with what he provides. Because he's cool like that. And I need to learn to trust Him more and not be so darn fearful. So, this means I want people to visit me. Home comes complete with a guest bedroom with two twin beds. So there are no excuses, ok? I know some of you like going to concerts, so feel free to go and then come stay with me. I will try my best to the the hostest with the mostest. I also found a church that I like with nice people. I had lunch today with a girl from the church and we figured out we have been leading parallel lives and we're very similar. But not the kind of similar that you don't like each other, but the kind of similar that means there is plenty for you to do together because you enjoy the same things. I've also blown a tire and, as usual, a $140 job turned into $415 because evidently I needed to break pads and roters. Whatev.
I still feel like growing up is hard to do, and I'm finding the value of having people close to you and more reasons to look forward to being married. But that will all come in time. Although I'm a little worried about this Atlanta place because there are a heck of a lot of single, amazing women...and evidently no boys. Huh.
I also visited my amazing friends at AC last weekend and that was a complete blast. I love those people.
Ok, I think that's all. I'm hoping to have a pictoral representation of my working life on here soon...it's been too long since the last pictoral representation.
xoxo
PS for those of you who don't know what my job is here, I work for the PCA publishing company as an editor/project coordinator...for more info scroll down a few entries.
