Carla and I are safe in costa rica we went way over budget on saturday by staying at a lodge and using two taxis. busses are much cheaper. last night we stayed with a lovely woman named Mireja who charged us only $12 to sleep in her house and take two meals. breakfast was especially good. we hiked and swam yesterday at Tapanti National Park. today we are attempting to get to the beach. We will spend a few days there. Less people speak english here than I though but most are very nice and understanding. A semester of spanish and a smile or confused look gets you a long way.
I love you guys and I miss you.
