I just finished re-reading all 7 Harry Potter books... and they still amaze me and bring insight into an imaginary world that seems almost real as you read. What struck me most as I was reading was not just how she got all the books to intertwine but how brilliant of a writer she was. My favorite book was definitely Book 4 but my favorite chapter was Chapter 19 of Book 7. It's the first time that real relationships between Harry, Ron & Hermione come into focus and Rowling does a great job explaining it.
The most alarming scene for me was in Book 7 when Mrs. Weasley goes to battle Bellatrix Lestrange and screams "Not my daughter, You Bitch" which just makes you want to laugh because it's Mrs. Weasley, but then again if have 7 children and only one of them is a girl, you'd probably be overly protective of that daughter too.
I do have a question for Rowling... where the hell did the names of Ron & Hermione's children come from?!? At least Harry & Ginny's had a reason, a purpose...
Also, if we were told that Harry was a true descendant of Ignotius Prevell (the one who had the invisibility cloak) and we know that Marvolo Gaunt was a descendant of one of brothers (the one who had the stone) then wouldn't that make Harry and Tom Riddle related (although very distant)? Another question... it seems as though all the professors at Hogwarts never married or had children... why is that? We know why Snape didn't... he loved Lily too much to ever care for anyone else, but what about Doubledore, McGonagall, or any others?
I'm willing to entertain and discuss what you think...
Oh and I no longer believe that the Dumbledores and Potters were related as the Dumbledore's didn't live their whole life in Godric's Hollow...
