So, I have not written a journal entry in quite some time. While it feels necessary to post at this time, it also feels awkward and weird due to the drama that occurred over my last post.
But, after all, it is a free country...and it is still a journal. If you don't like it, don't read it. Case closed.
Today was day 1 of the WKU speech camp. I am teaching sr. interp (shock). Ah, I forgot about KHSSL forensics. It is always an eye opener for me.
I have a test tomorrow in my theories class. ew. It should be easy but that doesn't stop my nerves. I hate tests.
I recently went to the NFL tournament. I didn't stay the whole tournament but was still there for 4 days. Geesh, its a marathon. It was very interesting. What an amazing HS speech opportunity this tournament turned out to be. Such talent. Such rewards. Also, my interview went very well. And that is all I am to say about that matter at this time.
Jenny and I are great. I know I don't talk about her a lot in this journal - mainly because I talk about her so much during normal conversation I feel I would be exhausting people of my thoughts/feelings if I continued. Either that or they'd gag. I'm choosing to not care at this time. Sometimes if you pray long enough...God will give you what you've asked for - and that He did. She is wonderful. She is also working camp this week. Debate (shock). Her little brother is also at the camp. He's in 8th grade and is not on a particular forensics team, but he's a genius and so they let him come anyway. I just love that kid. Today he told me that at last year's camp he got roomed with a guy that definitely had a colostomy bag and if it wasn't a colostomy bag then he just liked to dump in plastic baggies. Either way it smelled. He's so witty and absolutely doesn't try. I kinda love it. Also, he's freakishly smart like Jenny. Together, they are wikipedia. Its endearing yet unnerving. She loves him so much and I respect that a lot.
Ok, I'm tired and I have to act alert tomorrow.
night.
