I am so f---ing tired. Mom's visit was long, my love and I had a BIG fight practically in front of her face, and then I ran off for a few days of peace and quiet in the swamp otherwise known as our nation's capital.
DC was nice, saw a couple of old friends, but mostly hung out with my bud John in Cap Hill. We went to a Nationals game, shot pool at the Eagle, and went to see "Broken Flowers". I learned what "Su Do Ku" is all about, though I still prefer my Cross Sums.
Most exciting, I did my first interview for my book! I was so scared about buying and learning to use a camcorder for the last month that I forgot how pumped I was to start working on something I'm passionate about (vs. my current place of employ) -- this sums up what many of us experience:

Its pretty general at this point, but I see a thesis developing somewhere. I get to meet some wonderful men all over the country and hear some inspirational stories, and hope to record these stories ... there is so little in print, even in the gay bookstores these days. All the best sellers are like "Hand Jobs 5", and "Famous Porn Star Bottoms". Not that I am judging the merits of those seminal works (bad pun intended).
Now back to pretending to work at my paying job.
