This up-coming Tuesday is "Cafe Night," a night of original music and poetry, and a bit of dramatic performance. It opens at 7 PM, runs 'til about 9 PM, and admission is free; it will be held in the Amphitheatre at the Ignatian Center for the Arts (500 SW 127 Ave.). Snacks and drinks will be available (pastries, coffee, soda, water, etc.), and the money gathered through those sales will go to the Belen Theatre Department. There will also be donation boxes set up throughout the Amphitheatre to gather funds for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, a charity that works to help heal the victims of HIV and AIDS, and fights to end its spread. Please let anyone who may be interested in this event know about it.
