It's 6:30 a.m. I wake shortly before my alarm goes off, and re-set it for about an hour later than originally intended. Check phone. Check Facebook. I stumble out of bed. Shower. Find clothes. White shirt, blue tie, black pants. I feel like I am these clothes, like they are me. Name tag. Belt. My hair is too long, it won't style properly. Toast with raspberry jam for breakfast. Put on the coat, it's cold out. In the car: left, right, left, right, left, right, left, left, left, park. Wait. Wait. Wait. Enter work. In the lunchroom, drink one and one-half coffee mugs of water. Slowly wander downstairs and start my day.
Hell is repetition.
