Two Girls
Two girls sit at different tables in the same Denny's. They'd be surprised at how much they have in common, but they do not know the significance of each other to the other's life. What do they have in common, you ask? Well, they've both broken my heart.
I saw Crystal tonight, while at Denny's with Jess and the crew. She was with what I can only assume - judging by the way she tackled him in the lobby - is her current boyfriend. My replacement. It was weird to sit there beside Jess and watch Crystal talking to this guy. I got to thinking then, how things can change and how people can just...vanish. At one point, I was closer to this girl than anybody else, and now I can't even say hello when I see her at Denny's.
Life is a complicated thing, my friends.
And that is where my mind is at tonight.
