It's monday and I have no motivation on this project for work.
Over the weekend, my bike was stolen. This is a huge rain on my parade because I now need to buy a bike for the remaining 2 months here. I can't avoid this because I have a huge trip planned. I'll be following the tour de france.
On sunday, I went to Chantilly, France for a day at the tracks. For some, it included tents to indulge all 5 senses with lavish decidance along with high stakes betting. For me, it included people watching and taking pictures while enjoying the sun and gentle breeze.
That brings me back to today. It's raining. I remembered an umbrella but I still had to walk 20 min in the rain because I couldn't wake up for the direct bus. I have been working on this project with no progress for some time now. It definitely should not be taking this long, but I just don't see how to continue.
This coming weekend, I'll see a friend in Paris and may go to the air show. If horses were difficult to photograph due to speed, this may be near impossible. I'm pretty excited for the opportunity. This is the first air show I've seen since my dad stopped making me go see him when I was little. I really don't remember much about them. Sitting in airplanes, lots of informational flyers. And walking.
The weekend after I'll plan to go to Brussels. It should be about 40€ there and back, then another 40€ for lodging, and maybe 50€ for food. For an entire weekend, that's pretty good. But i still need to look for a bike. This is going to be a hassle.
For the fourth of July, I am leaning away from the IEP trip to London. I've seen them here in Europe and I've seen London. Soooo, in my mind I could easily find something else new and impressive.
I seriously can't procrastinate any longer. I can't think of a single other thing to write.
