Summary: Sumgmin comes back home and has some news for both Donghae and Eunhyuk that will change everything.
"Don't" said Eunhyuk, he knew he sounded pathetic but he didn't know what else to say to keep his brother from leaving.
"I already have. And if I were you Hyuk, I'd clean myself up and go over there, he's going to need you more now then ever" said Sungmin as he walked out of his brother's apartment for the last time. Eunhyuk stared wide eyed at where his brother was just at, wondering if all that just happened or not.
A/N: Soomin is the name of Donghae and Sungmin’s daughter. And I am sorry for taking so long with this squeal, truthfully I didn’t want to write this but so many people asked, so I delivered, though I don’t think that everyone will be happy with the outcome and wish it would have ended with the part one.
Being A Housewife
Eunhyuk looked around the kitchen, inspecting it. Not a spot of dirt, not a plate out of place. He smiled in satisfaction to himself. Then a pair of arms wrapped themselves around his thin waist. He was startled at first but he knew the owners of the arms, he had become so accustom to those arms.
"Hae~" breathed out Eunhyuk
"Hmm~ Hyukkie baby" said Donghae as he kissed Eunhyuk's neck and nuzzled it.
Eunhyuk giggled and moved his head to one side so that he could give Donghae more room to continue.
"Hae~"
"Hmm" replied Donghae as he continued his ministration.
"St-stop" said Eunhyuk weakly as Donghae started to caress his hip underneath his shirt.
"Why?" asked Donghae as he started to bite and suck harder.
"What if someone sees us?" asked Eunhyuk as he pulled away from Donghae's grasp and turned around.
"Who would see us baby?" said Donghae as he reached over and pulled Eunhyuk by the waist and crushed their bodies together.
"Ah~" Eunhyuk couldn't help but let out a moan.
"And I don't think you want me to stop baby, and I am not the type of husband to leave his wife unsatisfied “said Donghae huskily into Eunhyuk's ear.
"Hus-husband, wife?" asked Eunhyuk as Donghae nibbled at his ear.
"Yea baby," said Donghae as he pulled away from Eunhyuk to look him in his eyes.
"You're my wife, and I'm your husband"
"Really?" asked Eunhyuk as he got teary eyed.
"Baby... what's wrong with you? Did you already forget that I'm your husband, huh?" asked Donghae as he kissed Eunhyuk on the forehead and wiped his tears.
"No, Hae" said Eunhyuk
"Then why the tears?" asked Donghae as he caressed Eunhyuk's cheek gently.
"I'm just so happy Hae, I love you" said Eunhyuk, he had never told Donghae that he loved him before. Eunhyuk hugged Donghae tightly. And he thought about it. It was odd, he should have told Donghae before that he loved him. How could they be married and this be the first time he said I love you to Donghae. It was strange, very strange.
And suddenly Eunhyuk heard and felt someone shaking him.
"Hyuk- Hyuk- Yah! Lee Eunhyuk!" said a voice.
And Eunhyuk slowly opened his eyes and saw his brother Sungmin standing over him. Tears were leaking out from his eyes.
"Hyuk, what's wrong?" asked Sungmin as he sat next to Eunhyuk on his bed.
Eunhyuk didn't know whether it was because it was all a dream and he wasn't really with Donghae at all. Or the fact that Sungmin was now in front of him. He felt extremely guilty, sad, upset, angry and frustrated. He felt guilty because he was in love with his only brother’s husband. He felt sad because he couldn't ever be with Donghae. Upset because he knew something that Donghae didn't, that his brother was cheating on him. Angry because his brother would use him and ask him to look after Donghae and his daughter while he was off with his lover. And finally he felt frustrated because all these things were happening and he couldn't do a thing about it.
"Hyuk? What's up with you?" asked Sungmin as he got closer to his baby brother. "I know those must be tears of joy, you’re just happy to see your hyung, right?" asked Sungmin as he got closer to Eunhyuk and put an arm behind Eunhyuk's head.
"Yea, your right Minnie" said Eunhyuk as he sat up and wiped his tears away. "I thought you weren't sure when you were coming back. That's what you told Donghae earlier on the phone?" asked Eunhyuk, as he recovered a little.
"Yeah, well that was yesterday," said Sungmin as he looked forward and not at his brother.
"What changed?" asked Eunhyuk
"Well..." started Sungmin, "Hyuk, you know I love you very much, you are the only brother I have and we have always been close, and I love you" said Sungmin as he took a hold of both of Eunhyuk's hands in his own.
"I know that Minnie. What's going on?" asked Eunhyuk, he didn't have a good feeling about what his brother was about to tell him.
"I...I'm leaving Hae" said Sungmin as he clasped his hand's tighter around his brothers.
"What!" yelled out Eunhyuk as he yanked his own hands away from his brothers and
stood up.
"I'm leaving Donghae, and I'm going to go live with Kyuhyun" said Sungmin as he also got up off the bed.
No one said anything for a minute. Both brothers were on opposite sides of the bed, both were trying to hold back tears that were freely falling.
"Yo-how could you Minnie?" asked Eunhyuk as his voice broke at his brother’s name.
"Hyuk-" said Sungmin as he went forward to hug his brother, but stopped when Eunhyuk held his hand up, telling him to stop and not come near him. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry" said Sungmin in a whisper.
Another minute passed with either Lee saying anything. But then Eunhyuk broke the silence again, he was furious at his brother, how could he just abandon his family like that.
"Why!?!" yelled out Eunhyuk
"I- I just don't love him Hyuk" said Sungmin. Sungmin wept silently, he knew that one of the toughest parts of his decision would be telling his brother, and he was proving himself right.
"Then why did you marry him?!!" yelled out Eunhyuk, he was furious, how could Sungmin hurt Donghae like this.
"Hyuk...please you're my brother, please try to understand me...please" pleaded Sungmin.
"I don't understand you Sungmin. How can you do this to Donghae, to your daughter...to me?"Asked Eunhyuk, he was full on crying now, he was having a hard time speaking and even breathing.
"I'm so sorry Hyuk, but I...I love Kyuhyun and I want to be with him, please" said Sungmin, he was also crying but because he was afraid. Afraid that his brother would hate him now.
"No!" said Eunhyuk, he looked at his brother and couldn't believe that the man in front of him was really saying all of this and was really his brother.
"Hyuk please, listen to me," said Sungmin as he came around to his brother and tried to hug him, but took a couple steps back when he was pushed away. As long as he could remember Eunhyuk never laid a hand on him, negatively at least.
"Don't touch me. It was bad enough you leaving them days on end but now..." said Eunhyuk he couldn't finish his sentence, the thought alone brought him to his knees.
"You must have seen it coming Hyuk. Besides you should be thanking me" said Sungmin with bitterness in his tone, as he knelt down to his brother.
"Thank you...why?"Asked Eunhyuk, his curiosity getting the better of him.
"Because now you can go and have Donghae to yourself." Eunhyuk's eyes widened at his brothers statement. Had he found out about his feeling toward Donghae?
"I-I"
"Don't start Hyuk, I've known, I've always known" said Sungmin. Eunhyuk looked at his brother in shock and outrage.
"How long?" was all Eunhyuk could get out.
"I'm going to be honest with you Hyuk" said Sungmin and he smiled sweetly at his little brother. "Since before we went to that party and I met Donghae for the first time"
Eunhyuk sat frozen to the ground, he couldn't believe what he was hearing but after a minute he snapped again when this new information sunk in.
"THEN WHY DID YOU DATE HIM, MARRY HIM!? IF YOU KNEW HOW I FELT, WHY! I-I- WE could have been..." whispered Eunhyuk the last part.
"I know Hyuk, and I am so sorry. I just, I don't know, I knew you liked someone and Junsu told me his name was Donghae, I had ever intention of hooking you two up when I went to that party... but when I met him... he was so handsome and charming, you know, so Donghae. I fell for him too." said Sungmin as he hung his head low. "I know I was hurting you, all this time, all these years. I know I put you through so much pain and heartache all this time, but I'm selfish Hyuk, I wanted him to myself, I'm sorry Hyuk"
Eunhyuk said nothing. He didn't know what to say, he thought this whole time that his brother didn't know that he wasn't deliberately hurting him. What a fool he must have been, what a stupid fool he must have looked like in his brother's eyes, always in love with his husband but never saying anything because he was his brother's.
"I know I can't expect your forgiveness right away but I hope one day you will forgive me, because I am the only brother you have Hyuk and even though I haven't acted like it I love you, I do Hyuk, very much" said Sungmin as he got up off the floor.
"Sungmin...don't go" whispered Eunhyuk when he saw his brother leaving. Even though it was his brother who inflicted his pain, he needed his brother to comfort him, to stay with him, and to stay with his family. Even if it did still hurt him to see his brother with the love of the life he knew it would hurt more seeing Donghae heartbroken and Soomin motherless.
"I can't Hyuk, though I love you and Donghae both, I love myself more" he said with a smile. "I'm going to be selfish one last time and go with Kyuhyun. I know its wrong but when I'm with him, it just seems right"
"What about Soomin!?" said Eunhyuk, "She needs her mother!" yelled Eunhyuk.
"She needs loving parents... and I know you and Donghae will take care of her well" said Sungmin as he bent down to Eunhyuk's level. "You already love her as your own. Take good care of her, please. And of Donghae. And yourself." said Sungmin as he kissed Eunhyuk on the forehead.
"Don't" said Eunhyuk, he knew he sounded pathetic but he didn't know what else to say to keep his brother from leaving.
"I already have. And if I were you Hyuk, I'd clean myself up and go over there, he's going to need you more now then ever" said Sungmin as he walked out of his brother's apartment for the last time. Eunhyuk stared wide eyed at where his brother was just at, wondering if all that just happened or not. After a minute or two he finally reacted. His only thought then was Donghae. He quickly got up and took a shower and headed over to his brother's old house.
It was quite when Eunhyuk arrived at Donghae's house. He didn't know if that was a good thing or not. He slowly opened the door and braced himself.
He walked into the living room and what he saw brought him to tears. There in the living room sat Donghae, tears rolling down his face, a drink in one hand while his other hand caressed Soomin's cheek and hair. She had her head in her daddy's lap, she must have fallen asleep, obviously from crying by the visible tear tracks on her face.
Donghae slowly looked at the new person who entered the room. He knew it wasn't going to be his wife so he really didn't care who had come only that they left him and his daughter alone. But when he saw the slim figure looking at him with tears in his eyes he gave a weak smile. He didn't like people feeling sorry for him, and he especially didn't like them crying for him. But with this particular figure he didn't like seeing him crying period. So he tried to show him that he was fine and gave him a weak smile. But by the more heavy tears that sprung from his eyes he knew that he didn't believe him. So he stopped smiling and finished his drink, and continued to stroke his little angel affectionately.
"Donghae..." was all Eunhyuk could say.
3 years later.
"Soomin stop playing with the baby, your daddy is going to be here any minute" said Eunhyuk as he placed his hands on his hips.
"But I wanna play with the baby more" said Soomin with a pout.
"Your daddy is going to be upset with me if I just let you have your way" said Eunhyuk as he went back to stirring the contents he was making for dinner on the stove top.
"No he won't. Daddy loves you, I know that" said Soomin in a very as a matter of fact tone.
Eunhyuk coughed before turning around and giving the little girl a stern look. With that Soomin went to go wash up, she knew when she was defeated, plus she did want to be a good girl for her daddy.
Ring dong~
"Who is that?" asked Soomin as she walked back into the kitchen.
"Must be your daddy, he must have forgotten his key again.
"I'll get it" yelled out Soomin.
But before Eunhyuk could protest on the dangers of opening the door up to just anyone she had already opened the door, revealing Donghae.
"Daddy~!" yelled out the little girl and jumped into her daddy's embraced.
"Hello sweetheart how is my favorite girl?" asked Donghae sweetly to his daughter.
"Daddy, daddy, the baby, the baby, he's so cute and I had a lot of fun with him" said Soomin excitedly.
"Oh really, that's good. I'm glad you’re getting along now" said Donghae, when the baby first came Soomin was very anti-baby, she didn't like everyone giving their attention to him and not her.
"Hyukkie" said Donghae as he put his little girl down and kissed him on the cheek.
"Hi, Hae, how was work?" asked Eunhyuk as he took Donghae's coat and hung it up for him.
"Good. How was the baby and Soomin, not too much trouble today?" asked Donghae as he eyed his little girl.
"They were good. Soomin especially." said Eunhyuk as he walked back to the kitchen and to his baby.
Eunhyuk tried to go back to cooking but he felt a piercing gaze watching him. It gave him goose bumps and sent shivers down his spine. Eunhyuk slowly turned around and sure enough Donghae was looking at him. Eunhyuk shivered again.
"You know, watching you cook always makes me think of-"
"Honey, I'm home" said a male voice. Eunhyuk automatically stiffened but then saw Donghae looking him, so instantly smiled as the source of the sound stepped into the kitchen.
"Hello Siwon" said Donghae coolly and pat the taller man's shoulder as he walked past him to Eunhyuk.
"Hey Hae" said Siwon as he grabbed Eunhyuk by the waist and pulled him into a hug.
"Honey, I've missed you today" said Siwon into Eunhyuk's ear and then kissed him on the cheek before heading over to the baby sitting into the high chair at the corner of the room.
"And I've missed you as well, my little Sihyuk, did you miss daddy?" asked Siwon as he picked up his son. "Honey, it smells wonderful" said Siwon as he kissed his baby.
"It'll be done by the time you freshen up" said Eunhyuk as he turned around and started looked over what he was cooking.
"Ok, then I'll just go get ready then," he said as he put his baby back in its high chair,
"Donghae will you and Soomin be joining us?" asked Siwon.
"Nope, sorry we can't, we got dinner plans already, but thank you" said Donghae and Siwon nodded as he left the kitchen to his bedroom to freshen up.
"Daddy, we're not staying?" asked Soomin as she appeared in the kitchen again. "No sweetheart, remember I told you that we were going to be eating with daddy's friend, Miss Jessica, remember?" asked Donghae as he patted Soomin.
"But I wanna stay with the baby" said Soomin as she went over and caressed the baby's cheeks. Donghae couldn't blame his daughter for wanting to stay with the baby, he was adorable, he was exactly Hyukkie in every good sense.
"I know, but you'll see your cousin again in a couple of days" said Donghae.
"But I wanna see him now, and I don't like Miss Jessica" said Soomin hotly.
"Soomin, don't be like that with your daddy" said Eunhyuk, he tried to stay out of it but he couldn't anymore when Soomin was being disrespectful to Donghae.
"I don't want to go! I don't like her daddy, I want Auntie Hyukkie better, I want Sihyuk to be my brother, please daddy, just say you’re sorry to Auntie Hyukkie and tell him that you love him. I know you do daddy, you even said that Auntie Hyukkie was more prettier and better than Miss Jessica to Uncle Kang-In. Please Daddy say it, please!" cried out Soomin as she tugged on her fathers trousers.
"Lee Soomin, stop this right now. What did I tell you about throwing tantrums, you’re not a little girl anymore, go into the play room and gather your things, now young lady" said Donghae sternly.
Eunhyuk was shocked by all the things his niece had just said. She didn't know what to think of it.
"I'm sorry Hyukkie, I'm sorry for her behavior, she must be taking me dating worse than I thought she would" said Donghae.
"That's ok, she's just having a hard time, but I'm sure Miss Jessica is a lovely girl" said Eunhyuk as he turned off the stove and faced Donghae.
"She is. Very lovely." said Donghae. The awkward tension could be cut with a knife.
"She's right though Hyukkie, you know they always say that a child can not lie, and though she throws tantrums, she doesn't lie either"
"Hae" said Eunhyuk, he wasn't sure what to say, or if he even wanted to hear anything else Donghae had to say.
"I'm sorry Hyukkie, I've made you uncomfortable, we'll go now" said Donghae as he looked at Hyukkie, but before he knew it he was talking again, "But I want you to know that what Soomin is true Hyukkie, everything. I also wish that Sihyuk was her brother and that you were my wife"
"Donghae don't-"
"I know, it's my entire fault, it seems like everything is my fault Hyukkie. If only… things could have been so different Hyukkie, but I messed up. I am sorry, and you are better than Jessica, in every way but I don't deserve you, I just hope that your happy now" asked Donghae with pleading eyes. He had always wanted to tell Eunhyuk that but never found the right time or place, and even though it still wasn’t the right time and place he couldn’t help himself.
"I am Hae, very happy...now" said Eunhyuk.
It was lucky for Eunhyuk that Siwon hadn't come back during all that time and it was also lucky that Eunhyuk didn't start crying until after he bid farewell to Donghae and Soomin.
"Do you regret marrying me Hyukkie?" asked Siwon as he sat down next to his wife.
Eunhyuk said nothing but wept more, he felt bad that Siwon had in fact heard everything that Donghae had said to him.
"I will go down tomorrow to the lawyer's and get divorce paper's if that's what you want" said Siwon as he put his arm around his wife's shoulders.
"Wh-what?" croaked out Eunhyuk, he was panicking, did Siwon not want to be with him because of what Donghae said, because he thought that he didn't love him.
"If being with Donghae is what you want I will let you go Hyukkie, I love you enough to do that" said Siwon as he wrapped his other arm over Eunhyuk's chest and brought him into his embrace.
"Si- Wonnie." Eunhyuk had never felt so touched in his life. He knew that Siwon had always loved him, but it wasn't until today that he felt and knew to what extent. Eunhyuk tried to break their embrace so that he could face Siwon but he was finding it difficult.
"Please Hyukkie, if tonight is our last night as husband and wife, please just let me hold you like this a little longer before you leave me" said Siwon, as Eunhyuk felt droplets hit the top of his head.
"Wonnie" said Eunhyuk, as he broke free and turned and faced his husband. "I. Love. You." said Eunhyuk as he wiped his husband's tears. He continued as Siwon was giving him a confused look. "I won't lie to you Choi Siwon and tell you I don't love Donghae because I do, I think I always will, he is my first love and the most extricating love I've ever experienced." said Eunhyuk and he looked at Siwon and it seemed that with every phrase of loving Donghae was killing him so he quickly changed his stance and got up and sat himself on top of his husband's lap.
When he was comfy and felt his husband's strong arms around him he continued. "But yours is the most purest, special and deepest love I could have ever asked for. I feel truly blessed because you came into my life and saved me from the dark, despairing life I was living. And if given the choice I wouldn't do anything different, and I'd still want to end up with you Siwon and only you." said Eunhyuk as he grabbed Siwon's hand and played with it.
"I keep thinking that I am keeping you and Donghae and now even Soomin from being truly happy, if only I weren't around you all would be happy and a complete family" said Siwon.
"Don't you say that Choi Siwon!" yelled out Eunhyuk as he hit his husband on the chest,
"If you and I didn't get together we wouldn't have Sihyuk, and I don't want to be apart of any scenario where he doesn't live, so don't you dare Choi Siwon" said Eunhyuk
"I'm sorry baby and baby" said Siwon to Eunhyuk and to Sihyuk, "But if I-"
"Siwon stop, I gave him his chances, I loved him a whole nine years when he was with my brother, and I knew that after he left he would be hurt, but I didn't know how much it would hurt me too Siwon" said Eunhyuk as he turned and sat straight in Siwon's lap, so that they were face to face. "I knew it was going to take a while before he got over my brother, but I also thought we both loved each other and it would happen, us. I waited and waited Siwon, I couldn't wait anymore" said Eunhyuk pleaded, trying to reason with his husband that he wasn't a bad person for giving up.
"I know that baby" said Siwon as he wiped his wife's tears away.
"It hurt so much seeing him day in and out like that, always over looking me and wishing I was Sungmin. I waited over a year, hoping and praying, I couldn't do it anymore, I just couldn't, I wasn't ever going to be Sungmin, I didn't want to be his filler-in and I don't want to be him. So please, don't divorce me, I don't want to leave my family too, I love you both more than anything, I don't want to be like Sungmin, I don't want to hurt you two like that, please Siwon" said Eunhyuk as he grabbed onto Siwon's shirt tightly.
"Baby clam down, you're not your brother, you're not Sungmin" said Siwon as he rubbed Eunhyuk's back to soothe his crying. "We're not divorcing, I love you so very much, I just thought that's what you wanted, I don't want to loose you Eunhyuk, please
I'm sorry"
"I love you too Siwon" said Eunhyuk and he felt Siwon tug at his chin so that he was looking at him.
"I only want your happiness Eunhyuk, that's all that matters to me, your happiness is my happiness. I love you with all my heart and soul and I thank God the day he lead me to you" said Siwon as he leaned in and kissed his wife full on his plump lips. Eunhyuk quickly responded back to the kiss, hoping to show Siwon how much he really did love him too.
"AH!!" cried out Sihyuk. And Siwon and Eunhyuk pulled apart and quickly got up. Siwon fetched their son and tried to soothe him while Eunhyuk went to get the baby a bottle.
"Ugh" sighed Eunhyuk, it had been a tiring day. Both emotionally and physically. "Good Night my little prince" said Eunhyuk as he kissed his baby, turned off the lights and closed the door lightly.
Eunhyuk was glad the day was finally over, he couldn't wait to get to bed and sleep in his husband arms.
Crash.
"Sorry baby, I was just trying to help put the food away" said Siwon with a sly smile from in the kitchen. Eunhyuk smiled at his clumsy husband. Eunhyuk grabbed the right tupperware to put the food in and put away the ones his husband dropped.
'A housewife's work is never done' thought Eunhyuk. But he wouldn't want it any other way, with any other husband or family.
A/N 2: So when I was writing this and I told my very good friend what I was going to write she was all like “NOOOOOOOO!”, seriously. I think a lot of you must feel like that too. Kekeke, don’t get me wrong, I didn’t intend for it to become a Sihyuk fic, cuz my otp is HaeHyuk, but I couldn’t see Hae and Hyukkie being happily ever after in this universe. So Sorry.
A/N3: So some might be confused so I’m gonna clear some things up. 1st Sungmin leaving had a very profound affect on both Donghae and Eunhyuk. For Eunhyuk it made family a lot more important and he vowed to never do what Sungmin did and leave his family for his own selfish needs. After Sungmin left Donghae went into a deep depression, he walked around for a zombie for a long time. This especially hurt Hyukkie because he waited patiently for Donghae to grieve and wanted to help him move on by being there for him with unconditional love, which he did, but Donghae couldn’t get over that Sungmin left him and left a big whole in their lives. And Donghae didn’t notice Hyukkie and how much he was suffering. My friend asked me and I will tell you too, yes, Donghae does love Hyukkie, very much but he was married and loved Sungmin too. So Donghae not reacting was not that he didn’t love Eunhyuk but that he couldn’t forget Sungmin and what they had. So how the hell did Siwon get into the mix. Well, Siwon had always had a thing for Eunhyuk, but Hyukkie was always out and about dating different guys, that he never noticed Siwon. Siwon though silently kept his love for Eunhyuk in his heart and waited for when Eunhyuk was single to make his move. Unfortunately for Siwon, when Eunhyuk stopped dating and was finally single it was because he was waiting for Donghae. So Siwon’s first advances were shot down right away, but he kept being there for Eunhyuk cuz he knew he was going through a hard time. So when Eunhyuk final decided that he couldn’t wait any longer for Donghae he accepted Siwon’s offer for a date, because he wanted to move on and not hurt anymore and also because he knew that Siwon loved him and he knew how one-sided love felt love so he said yes to Siwon. At first when they got together Eunhyuk still couldn’t get over Donghae but Siwon waited for him, and slowly Siwon won Eunhyuk over with his caring and affectionate personality. And so soon when Eunhyuk accepted Siwon into his heart he got pregnant. And no that’s not the only reason why Eunhyuk married Siwon, that’s what my friend asked me, she really doesn’t like Siwon and Eunhyuk together, though Eunhyuk not wanting to be like Sungmin was a big part of why he married Siwon, he wanted to keep his family together. So, yes, Eunhyuk didn’t exactly love Siwon when they married but he had begun to and after their son was born, that’s when he knew for sure that he did love Siwon. Maybe not the way that he loved Donghae but a different healthier way. And Donghae didn’t get his act together again until after he found out Hyukkie was pregnant and was going to marry Siwon, hearing that news is what snapped him out of his depression but he knew that it was too late and that he had lost Hyukkie a second time and he blames no one but himself. So knowing that he couldn’t have Hyukkie, and seeing what a wonderful man Siwon inspired him, so he got out there and started dating. So yes Donghae is dating Jessica, does he love her, kinda, but not nearly as much as he loves Eunhyuk. Everyone hates me huh? Wow long A/N. Anyways I hope you were entertained, I won’t say enjoyed, so please comment your thoughts. I will be happy to answer any more questions. And thank you for reading.

Summary: Sumgmin comes back home and has some news for both Donghae and Eunhyuk that will change everything.
"Don't" said Eunhyuk, he knew he sounded pathetic but he didn't know what else to say to keep his brother from leaving.
"I already have. And if I were you Hyuk, I'd clean myself up and go over there, he's going to need you more now then ever" said Sungmin as he walked out of his brother's apartment for the last time. Eunhyuk stared wide eyed at where his brother was just at, wondering if all that just happened or not.
A/N: Soomin is the name of Donghae and Sungmin’s daughter. And I am sorry for taking so long with this squeal, truthfully I didn’t want to write this but so many people asked, so I delivered, though I don’t think that everyone will be happy with the outcome and wish it would have ended with the part one.
Being A Housewife
Eunhyuk looked around the kitchen, inspecting it. Not a spot of dirt, not a plate out of place. He smiled in satisfaction to himself. Then a pair of arms wrapped themselves around his thin waist. He was startled at first but he knew the owners of the arms, he had become so accustom to those arms.
"Hae~" breathed out Eunhyuk
"Hmm~ Hyukkie baby" said Donghae as he kissed Eunhyuk's neck and nuzzled it.
Eunhyuk giggled and moved his head to one side so that he could give Donghae more room to continue.
"Hae~"
"Hmm" replied Donghae as he continued his ministration.
"St-stop" said Eunhyuk weakly as Donghae started to caress his hip underneath his shirt.
"Why?" asked Donghae as he started to bite and suck harder.
"What if someone sees us?" asked Eunhyuk as he pulled away from Donghae's grasp and turned around.
"Who would see us baby?" said Donghae as he reached over and pulled Eunhyuk by the waist and crushed their bodies together.
"Ah~" Eunhyuk couldn't help but let out a moan.
"And I don't think you want me to stop baby, and I am not the type of husband to leave his wife unsatisfied “said Donghae huskily into Eunhyuk's ear.
"Hus-husband, wife?" asked Eunhyuk as Donghae nibbled at his ear.
"Yea baby," said Donghae as he pulled away from Eunhyuk to look him in his eyes.
"You're my wife, and I'm your husband"
"Really?" asked Eunhyuk as he got teary eyed.
"Baby... what's wrong with you? Did you already forget that I'm your husband, huh?" asked Donghae as he kissed Eunhyuk on the forehead and wiped his tears.
"No, Hae" said Eunhyuk
"Then why the tears?" asked Donghae as he caressed Eunhyuk's cheek gently.
"I'm just so happy Hae, I love you" said Eunhyuk, he had never told Donghae that he loved him before. Eunhyuk hugged Donghae tightly. And he thought about it. It was odd, he should have told Donghae before that he loved him. How could they be married and this be the first time he said I love you to Donghae. It was strange, very strange.
And suddenly Eunhyuk heard and felt someone shaking him.
"Hyuk- Hyuk- Yah! Lee Eunhyuk!" said a voice.
And Eunhyuk slowly opened his eyes and saw his brother Sungmin standing over him. Tears were leaking out from his eyes.
"Hyuk, what's wrong?" asked Sungmin as he sat next to Eunhyuk on his bed.
Eunhyuk didn't know whether it was because it was all a dream and he wasn't really with Donghae at all. Or the fact that Sungmin was now in front of him. He felt extremely guilty, sad, upset, angry and frustrated. He felt guilty because he was in love with his only brother’s husband. He felt sad because he couldn't ever be with Donghae. Upset because he knew something that Donghae didn't, that his brother was cheating on him. Angry because his brother would use him and ask him to look after Donghae and his daughter while he was off with his lover. And finally he felt frustrated because all these things were happening and he couldn't do a thing about it.
"Hyuk? What's up with you?" asked Sungmin as he got closer to his baby brother. "I know those must be tears of joy, you’re just happy to see your hyung, right?" asked Sungmin as he got closer to Eunhyuk and put an arm behind Eunhyuk's head.
"Yea, your right Minnie" said Eunhyuk as he sat up and wiped his tears away. "I thought you weren't sure when you were coming back. That's what you told Donghae earlier on the phone?" asked Eunhyuk, as he recovered a little.
"Yeah, well that was yesterday," said Sungmin as he looked forward and not at his brother.
"What changed?" asked Eunhyuk
"Well..." started Sungmin, "Hyuk, you know I love you very much, you are the only brother I have and we have always been close, and I love you" said Sungmin as he took a hold of both of Eunhyuk's hands in his own.
"I know that Minnie. What's going on?" asked Eunhyuk, he didn't have a good feeling about what his brother was about to tell him.
"I...I'm leaving Hae" said Sungmin as he clasped his hand's tighter around his brothers.
"What!" yelled out Eunhyuk as he yanked his own hands away from his brothers and
stood up.
"I'm leaving Donghae, and I'm going to go live with Kyuhyun" said Sungmin as he also got up off the bed.
No one said anything for a minute. Both brothers were on opposite sides of the bed, both were trying to hold back tears that were freely falling.
"Yo-how could you Minnie?" asked Eunhyuk as his voice broke at his brother’s name.
"Hyuk-" said Sungmin as he went forward to hug his brother, but stopped when Eunhyuk held his hand up, telling him to stop and not come near him. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry" said Sungmin in a whisper.
Another minute passed with either Lee saying anything. But then Eunhyuk broke the silence again, he was furious at his brother, how could he just abandon his family like that.
"Why!?!" yelled out Eunhyuk
"I- I just don't love him Hyuk" said Sungmin. Sungmin wept silently, he knew that one of the toughest parts of his decision would be telling his brother, and he was proving himself right.
"Then why did you marry him?!!" yelled out Eunhyuk, he was furious, how could Sungmin hurt Donghae like this.
"Hyuk...please you're my brother, please try to understand me...please" pleaded Sungmin.
"I don't understand you Sungmin. How can you do this to Donghae, to your daughter...to me?"Asked Eunhyuk, he was full on crying now, he was having a hard time speaking and even breathing.
"I'm so sorry Hyuk, but I...I love Kyuhyun and I want to be with him, please" said Sungmin, he was also crying but because he was afraid. Afraid that his brother would hate him now.
"No!" said Eunhyuk, he looked at his brother and couldn't believe that the man in front of him was really saying all of this and was really his brother.
"Hyuk please, listen to me," said Sungmin as he came around to his brother and tried to hug him, but took a couple steps back when he was pushed away. As long as he could remember Eunhyuk never laid a hand on him, negatively at least.
"Don't touch me. It was bad enough you leaving them days on end but now..." said Eunhyuk he couldn't finish his sentence, the thought alone brought him to his knees.
"You must have seen it coming Hyuk. Besides you should be thanking me" said Sungmin with bitterness in his tone, as he knelt down to his brother.
"Thank you...why?"Asked Eunhyuk, his curiosity getting the better of him.
"Because now you can go and have Donghae to yourself." Eunhyuk's eyes widened at his brothers statement. Had he found out about his feeling toward Donghae?
"I-I"
"Don't start Hyuk, I've known, I've always known" said Sungmin. Eunhyuk looked at his brother in shock and outrage.
"How long?" was all Eunhyuk could get out.
"I'm going to be honest with you Hyuk" said Sungmin and he smiled sweetly at his little brother. "Since before we went to that party and I met Donghae for the first time"
Eunhyuk sat frozen to the ground, he couldn't believe what he was hearing but after a minute he snapped again when this new information sunk in.
"THEN WHY DID YOU DATE HIM, MARRY HIM!? IF YOU KNEW HOW I FELT, WHY! I-I- WE could have been..." whispered Eunhyuk the last part.
"I know Hyuk, and I am so sorry. I just, I don't know, I knew you liked someone and Junsu told me his name was Donghae, I had ever intention of hooking you two up when I went to that party... but when I met him... he was so handsome and charming, you know, so Donghae. I fell for him too." said Sungmin as he hung his head low. "I know I was hurting you, all this time, all these years. I know I put you through so much pain and heartache all this time, but I'm selfish Hyuk, I wanted him to myself, I'm sorry Hyuk"
Eunhyuk said nothing. He didn't know what to say, he thought this whole time that his brother didn't know that he wasn't deliberately hurting him. What a fool he must have been, what a stupid fool he must have looked like in his brother's eyes, always in love with his husband but never saying anything because he was his brother's.
"I know I can't expect your forgiveness right away but I hope one day you will forgive me, because I am the only brother you have Hyuk and even though I haven't acted like it I love you, I do Hyuk, very much" said Sungmin as he got up off the floor.
"Sungmin...don't go" whispered Eunhyuk when he saw his brother leaving. Even though it was his brother who inflicted his pain, he needed his brother to comfort him, to stay with him, and to stay with his family. Even if it did still hurt him to see his brother with the love of the life he knew it would hurt more seeing Donghae heartbroken and Soomin motherless.
"I can't Hyuk, though I love you and Donghae both, I love myself more" he said with a smile. "I'm going to be selfish one last time and go with Kyuhyun. I know its wrong but when I'm with him, it just seems right"
"What about Soomin!?" said Eunhyuk, "She needs her mother!" yelled Eunhyuk.
"She needs loving parents... and I know you and Donghae will take care of her well" said Sungmin as he bent down to Eunhyuk's level. "You already love her as your own. Take good care of her, please. And of Donghae. And yourself." said Sungmin as he kissed Eunhyuk on the forehead.
"Don't" said Eunhyuk, he knew he sounded pathetic but he didn't know what else to say to keep his brother from leaving.
"I already have. And if I were you Hyuk, I'd clean myself up and go over there, he's going to need you more now then ever" said Sungmin as he walked out of his brother's apartment for the last time. Eunhyuk stared wide eyed at where his brother was just at, wondering if all that just happened or not. After a minute or two he finally reacted. His only thought then was Donghae. He quickly got up and took a shower and headed over to his brother's old house.
It was quite when Eunhyuk arrived at Donghae's house. He didn't know if that was a good thing or not. He slowly opened the door and braced himself.
He walked into the living room and what he saw brought him to tears. There in the living room sat Donghae, tears rolling down his face, a drink in one hand while his other hand caressed Soomin's cheek and hair. She had her head in her daddy's lap, she must have fallen asleep, obviously from crying by the visible tear tracks on her face.
Donghae slowly looked at the new person who entered the room. He knew it wasn't going to be his wife so he really didn't care who had come only that they left him and his daughter alone. But when he saw the slim figure looking at him with tears in his eyes he gave a weak smile. He didn't like people feeling sorry for him, and he especially didn't like them crying for him. But with this particular figure he didn't like seeing him crying period. So he tried to show him that he was fine and gave him a weak smile. But by the more heavy tears that sprung from his eyes he knew that he didn't believe him. So he stopped smiling and finished his drink, and continued to stroke his little angel affectionately.
"Donghae..." was all Eunhyuk could say.
3 years later.
"Soomin stop playing with the baby, your daddy is going to be here any minute" said Eunhyuk as he placed his hands on his hips.
"But I wanna play with the baby more" said Soomin with a pout.
"Your daddy is going to be upset with me if I just let you have your way" said Eunhyuk as he went back to stirring the contents he was making for dinner on the stove top.
"No he won't. Daddy loves you, I know that" said Soomin in a very as a matter of fact tone.
Eunhyuk coughed before turning around and giving the little girl a stern look. With that Soomin went to go wash up, she knew when she was defeated, plus she did want to be a good girl for her daddy.
Ring dong~
"Who is that?" asked Soomin as she walked back into the kitchen.
"Must be your daddy, he must have forgotten his key again.
"I'll get it" yelled out Soomin.
But before Eunhyuk could protest on the dangers of opening the door up to just anyone she had already opened the door, revealing Donghae.
"Daddy~!" yelled out the little girl and jumped into her daddy's embraced.
"Hello sweetheart how is my favorite girl?" asked Donghae sweetly to his daughter.
"Daddy, daddy, the baby, the baby, he's so cute and I had a lot of fun with him" said Soomin excitedly.
"Oh really, that's good. I'm glad you’re getting along now" said Donghae, when the baby first came Soomin was very anti-baby, she didn't like everyone giving their attention to him and not her.
"Hyukkie" said Donghae as he put his little girl down and kissed him on the cheek.
"Hi, Hae, how was work?" asked Eunhyuk as he took Donghae's coat and hung it up for him.
"Good. How was the baby and Soomin, not too much trouble today?" asked Donghae as he eyed his little girl.
"They were good. Soomin especially." said Eunhyuk as he walked back to the kitchen and to his baby.
Eunhyuk tried to go back to cooking but he felt a piercing gaze watching him. It gave him goose bumps and sent shivers down his spine. Eunhyuk slowly turned around and sure enough Donghae was looking at him. Eunhyuk shivered again.
"You know, watching you cook always makes me think of-"
"Honey, I'm home" said a male voice. Eunhyuk automatically stiffened but then saw Donghae looking him, so instantly smiled as the source of the sound stepped into the kitchen.
"Hello Siwon" said Donghae coolly and pat the taller man's shoulder as he walked past him to Eunhyuk.
"Hey Hae" said Siwon as he grabbed Eunhyuk by the waist and pulled him into a hug.
"Honey, I've missed you today" said Siwon into Eunhyuk's ear and then kissed him on the cheek before heading over to the baby sitting into the high chair at the corner of the room.
"And I've missed you as well, my little Sihyuk, did you miss daddy?" asked Siwon as he picked up his son. "Honey, it smells wonderful" said Siwon as he kissed his baby.
"It'll be done by the time you freshen up" said Eunhyuk as he turned around and started looked over what he was cooking.
"Ok, then I'll just go get ready then," he said as he put his baby back in its high chair,
"Donghae will you and Soomin be joining us?" asked Siwon.
"Nope, sorry we can't, we got dinner plans already, but thank you" said Donghae and Siwon nodded as he left the kitchen to his bedroom to freshen up.
"Daddy, we're not staying?" asked Soomin as she appeared in the kitchen again. "No sweetheart, remember I told you that we were going to be eating with daddy's friend, Miss Jessica, remember?" asked Donghae as he patted Soomin.
"But I wanna stay with the baby" said Soomin as she went over and caressed the baby's cheeks. Donghae couldn't blame his daughter for wanting to stay with the baby, he was adorable, he was exactly Hyukkie in every good sense.
"I know, but you'll see your cousin again in a couple of days" said Donghae.
"But I wanna see him now, and I don't like Miss Jessica" said Soomin hotly.
"Soomin, don't be like that with your daddy" said Eunhyuk, he tried to stay out of it but he couldn't anymore when Soomin was being disrespectful to Donghae.
"I don't want to go! I don't like her daddy, I want Auntie Hyukkie better, I want Sihyuk to be my brother, please daddy, just say you’re sorry to Auntie Hyukkie and tell him that you love him. I know you do daddy, you even said that Auntie Hyukkie was more prettier and better than Miss Jessica to Uncle Kang-In. Please Daddy say it, please!" cried out Soomin as she tugged on her fathers trousers.
"Lee Soomin, stop this right now. What did I tell you about throwing tantrums, you’re not a little girl anymore, go into the play room and gather your things, now young lady" said Donghae sternly.
Eunhyuk was shocked by all the things his niece had just said. She didn't know what to think of it.
"I'm sorry Hyukkie, I'm sorry for her behavior, she must be taking me dating worse than I thought she would" said Donghae.
"That's ok, she's just having a hard time, but I'm sure Miss Jessica is a lovely girl" said Eunhyuk as he turned off the stove and faced Donghae.
"She is. Very lovely." said Donghae. The awkward tension could be cut with a knife.
"She's right though Hyukkie, you know they always say that a child can not lie, and though she throws tantrums, she doesn't lie either"
"Hae" said Eunhyuk, he wasn't sure what to say, or if he even wanted to hear anything else Donghae had to say.
"I'm sorry Hyukkie, I've made you uncomfortable, we'll go now" said Donghae as he looked at Hyukkie, but before he knew it he was talking again, "But I want you to know that what Soomin is true Hyukkie, everything. I also wish that Sihyuk was her brother and that you were my wife"
"Donghae don't-"
"I know, it's my entire fault, it seems like everything is my fault Hyukkie. If only… things could have been so different Hyukkie, but I messed up. I am sorry, and you are better than Jessica, in every way but I don't deserve you, I just hope that your happy now" asked Donghae with pleading eyes. He had always wanted to tell Eunhyuk that but never found the right time or place, and even though it still wasn’t the right time and place he couldn’t help himself.
"I am Hae, very happy...now" said Eunhyuk.
It was lucky for Eunhyuk that Siwon hadn't come back during all that time and it was also lucky that Eunhyuk didn't start crying until after he bid farewell to Donghae and Soomin.
"Do you regret marrying me Hyukkie?" asked Siwon as he sat down next to his wife.
Eunhyuk said nothing but wept more, he felt bad that Siwon had in fact heard everything that Donghae had said to him.
"I will go down tomorrow to the lawyer's and get divorce paper's if that's what you want" said Siwon as he put his arm around his wife's shoulders.
"Wh-what?" croaked out Eunhyuk, he was panicking, did Siwon not want to be with him because of what Donghae said, because he thought that he didn't love him.
"If being with Donghae is what you want I will let you go Hyukkie, I love you enough to do that" said Siwon as he wrapped his other arm over Eunhyuk's chest and brought him into his embrace.
"Si- Wonnie." Eunhyuk had never felt so touched in his life. He knew that Siwon had always loved him, but it wasn't until today that he felt and knew to what extent. Eunhyuk tried to break their embrace so that he could face Siwon but he was finding it difficult.
"Please Hyukkie, if tonight is our last night as husband and wife, please just let me hold you like this a little longer before you leave me" said Siwon, as Eunhyuk felt droplets hit the top of his head.
"Wonnie" said Eunhyuk, as he broke free and turned and faced his husband. "I. Love. You." said Eunhyuk as he wiped his husband's tears. He continued as Siwon was giving him a confused look. "I won't lie to you Choi Siwon and tell you I don't love Donghae because I do, I think I always will, he is my first love and the most extricating love I've ever experienced." said Eunhyuk and he looked at Siwon and it seemed that with every phrase of loving Donghae was killing him so he quickly changed his stance and got up and sat himself on top of his husband's lap.
When he was comfy and felt his husband's strong arms around him he continued. "But yours is the most purest, special and deepest love I could have ever asked for. I feel truly blessed because you came into my life and saved me from the dark, despairing life I was living. And if given the choice I wouldn't do anything different, and I'd still want to end up with you Siwon and only you." said Eunhyuk as he grabbed Siwon's hand and played with it.
"I keep thinking that I am keeping you and Donghae and now even Soomin from being truly happy, if only I weren't around you all would be happy and a complete family" said Siwon.
"Don't you say that Choi Siwon!" yelled out Eunhyuk as he hit his husband on the chest,
"If you and I didn't get together we wouldn't have Sihyuk, and I don't want to be apart of any scenario where he doesn't live, so don't you dare Choi Siwon" said Eunhyuk
"I'm sorry baby and baby" said Siwon to Eunhyuk and to Sihyuk, "But if I-"
"Siwon stop, I gave him his chances, I loved him a whole nine years when he was with my brother, and I knew that after he left he would be hurt, but I didn't know how much it would hurt me too Siwon" said Eunhyuk as he turned and sat straight in Siwon's lap, so that they were face to face. "I knew it was going to take a while before he got over my brother, but I also thought we both loved each other and it would happen, us. I waited and waited Siwon, I couldn't wait anymore" said Eunhyuk pleaded, trying to reason with his husband that he wasn't a bad person for giving up.
"I know that baby" said Siwon as he wiped his wife's tears away.
"It hurt so much seeing him day in and out like that, always over looking me and wishing I was Sungmin. I waited over a year, hoping and praying, I couldn't do it anymore, I just couldn't, I wasn't ever going to be Sungmin, I didn't want to be his filler-in and I don't want to be him. So please, don't divorce me, I don't want to leave my family too, I love you both more than anything, I don't want to be like Sungmin, I don't want to hurt you two like that, please Siwon" said Eunhyuk as he grabbed onto Siwon's shirt tightly.
"Baby clam down, you're not your brother, you're not Sungmin" said Siwon as he rubbed Eunhyuk's back to soothe his crying. "We're not divorcing, I love you so very much, I just thought that's what you wanted, I don't want to loose you Eunhyuk, please
I'm sorry"
"I love you too Siwon" said Eunhyuk and he felt Siwon tug at his chin so that he was looking at him.
"I only want your happiness Eunhyuk, that's all that matters to me, your happiness is my happiness. I love you with all my heart and soul and I thank God the day he lead me to you" said Siwon as he leaned in and kissed his wife full on his plump lips. Eunhyuk quickly responded back to the kiss, hoping to show Siwon how much he really did love him too.
"AH!!" cried out Sihyuk. And Siwon and Eunhyuk pulled apart and quickly got up. Siwon fetched their son and tried to soothe him while Eunhyuk went to get the baby a bottle.
"Ugh" sighed Eunhyuk, it had been a tiring day. Both emotionally and physically. "Good Night my little prince" said Eunhyuk as he kissed his baby, turned off the lights and closed the door lightly.
Eunhyuk was glad the day was finally over, he couldn't wait to get to bed and sleep in his husband arms.
Crash.
"Sorry baby, I was just trying to help put the food away" said Siwon with a sly smile from in the kitchen. Eunhyuk smiled at his clumsy husband. Eunhyuk grabbed the right tupperware to put the food in and put away the ones his husband dropped.
'A housewife's work is never done' thought Eunhyuk. But he wouldn't want it any other way, with any other husband or family.
A/N 2: So when I was writing this and I told my very good friend what I was going to write she was all like “NOOOOOOOO!”, seriously. I think a lot of you must feel like that too. Kekeke, don’t get me wrong, I didn’t intend for it to become a Sihyuk fic, cuz my otp is HaeHyuk, but I couldn’t see Hae and Hyukkie being happily ever after in this universe. So Sorry.
A/N3: So some might be confused so I’m gonna clear some things up. 1st Sungmin leaving had a very profound affect on both Donghae and Eunhyuk. For Eunhyuk it made family a lot more important and he vowed to never do what Sungmin did and leave his family for his own selfish needs. After Sungmin left Donghae went into a deep depression, he walked around for a zombie for a long time. This especially hurt Hyukkie because he waited patiently for Donghae to grieve and wanted to help him move on by being there for him with unconditional love, which he did, but Donghae couldn’t get over that Sungmin left him and left a big whole in their lives. And Donghae didn’t notice Hyukkie and how much he was suffering. My friend asked me and I will tell you too, yes, Donghae does love Hyukkie, very much but he was married and loved Sungmin too. So Donghae not reacting was not that he didn’t love Eunhyuk but that he couldn’t forget Sungmin and what they had. So how the hell did Siwon get into the mix. Well, Siwon had always had a thing for Eunhyuk, but Hyukkie was always out and about dating different guys, that he never noticed Siwon. Siwon though silently kept his love for Eunhyuk in his heart and waited for when Eunhyuk was single to make his move. Unfortunately for Siwon, when Eunhyuk stopped dating and was finally single it was because he was waiting for Donghae. So Siwon’s first advances were shot down right away, but he kept being there for Eunhyuk cuz he knew he was going through a hard time. So when Eunhyuk final decided that he couldn’t wait any longer for Donghae he accepted Siwon’s offer for a date, because he wanted to move on and not hurt anymore and also because he knew that Siwon loved him and he knew how one-sided love felt love so he said yes to Siwon. At first when they got together Eunhyuk still couldn’t get over Donghae but Siwon waited for him, and slowly Siwon won Eunhyuk over with his caring and affectionate personality. And so soon when Eunhyuk accepted Siwon into his heart he got pregnant. And no that’s not the only reason why Eunhyuk married Siwon, that’s what my friend asked me, she really doesn’t like Siwon and Eunhyuk together, though Eunhyuk not wanting to be like Sungmin was a big part of why he married Siwon, he wanted to keep his family together. So, yes, Eunhyuk didn’t exactly love Siwon when they married but he had begun to and after their son was born, that’s when he knew for sure that he did love Siwon. Maybe not the way that he loved Donghae but a different healthier way. And Donghae didn’t get his act together again until after he found out Hyukkie was pregnant and was going to marry Siwon, hearing that news is what snapped him out of his depression but he knew that it was too late and that he had lost Hyukkie a second time and he blames no one but himself. So knowing that he couldn’t have Hyukkie, and seeing what a wonderful man Siwon inspired him, so he got out there and started dating. So yes Donghae is dating Jessica, does he love her, kinda, but not nearly as much as he loves Eunhyuk. Everyone hates me huh? Wow long A/N.
