THE METAL IS COMING OUT!!!!!!!!
I just got a call from my wrist surgeon's office. He looked at my CAT scan results and my right wrist has fused and healed well. So, I'm all set to get the cursed metal taken out of my right hand as soon as he fills out an order and has his surgery-scheduler call me.
To say I'm happy about this would be a *HUGE* understatement. I am OVERJOYED. I thought I was stuck with the metal and just had to live with the pain. Now that I know I don't have to, I... well, I can't adequately explain how this makes me feel. I won't be given my wrist back, but my tendons should stop hurting so damn much and maybe I'll even be able to actually write easier.
It's like the first step towards a dream.
