My Turn
I submitted my "So I Married a Creationist" essay to Newsweek's My Turn column submissions, via email. Doubt I'll hear anything back for a long time, but wish me luck anyways. I think I'm going to buy myself Dragon Naturally Speaking if I don't get it for Christmas. Writing makes me happy, and it's become clearer and clearer to me that playing World of Warcraft, as fun as it is, is just a distraction... It's what I'm doing because I can't focus on writing right now. I don't know how comfortable I'll be dictating, but I think I'll get used to it...
Of course, there is the worry that my jaw won't take kindly to being used that much, either... but it's worth a shot.
