But...I am more comfortable in high heels. Not necessarily the pointy things, or really high heels, but I am more comfortable with my heel being higher than my toes.

That is more faire, but I do enjoy wearing absurd uncomfortable shoes from time to time. I don't have anything like the same kinds of foot problems that you do, though.
