Change in diet? In people, green and soft = went through the digestive system too fast, usually because of mild illness. Otherwise, dietary changes can cause stool changes.

Reason I have this off the top of my head? DEALING WITH GREEN POOPED HUMANS THIS WEEK.

I wish I was making this up.

BTW, loved your recent Leviticus post stuff, but was breezing by and didn't comment. I have to reread again, but I was going YES YES YES YES YES.

in humans, feces that is obviously grey is a pretty good indication of blood in the stool- especially if it becomes black. grey color to feces means primarily that fat is not being digested properly- not enough bile or other digestive fluid to break it down. if it is clay-like in texture, in addition to the bile problem, you might also be dealing with a malabsorption of minerals etc, or possibly an overexpsoure/overdose of some medications (did they get into something they should not have been ( ... )
