Why so Sirius?
Hello.
Missed me? I promise I'll try to get back to regularly updating. I've been letting it go. I don't know why I haven't updated in so long. I'm not particularly busy-- work has been fine, school is out and I've taken the monumental decision to take next semester off (the best possible decision if I am to reclaim my sanity and financial pseudo-independence)-- and I'm not feeling particularly stagnant. So really, I don't know what's up.
A lot of things have happened since my last update. There has been a rush of sudden fluctuations in my love life, I broke my vow of never getting in front of the camera to act again, and certain sectors of my family are behaving like complete assholes. But I am not going to get into that now. I'll have a more detailed update later in the week.
As you can tell from my new userpic, I am ridiculously excited about going to see The Dark Knight tonight. It's gotten bad. People at work can't stand me. My friends indulge me for a good two minutes before they roll their eyes and attempt to divert my attention to a different topic. It doesn't work. All I ever want to talk about is Batman. I'll use him as a basis for comparison when discussing recruiting efforts, or I'll take scenes from certain Batmovies and use them as reference points when planning a shot. It's ridiculous. It needs to end. And I know that it will only end once I have seen the fucking thing. I've never been so psyched about a movie and it makes me feel like a complete and utter geek. It's disgusting.
I'm dragging a group of seven to the premiere with me tonight as soon as I get off work. Getting the tickets was an ordeal I'll be happy to never have to go through again... until the sequel, of course.
I'll write up a full review of the movie tomorrow. Or the day after that. Or whatever.
As I don't really have much to say right now and I really should be getting back to work, I'll leave you with a few scattered pictures of recent adventures.
