Advice needed from cat owners
I know we have a few KKids who are cat owners, so I thought my flist would be a good place to ask for advice.
My cat hasn't been letting me sleep much. Every couple of hours, she gets up and starts meowing and grunting until I get up and start petting her. Obviously this can't go on for too much longer, or I'll die from sleep deprivation. I closed my bedroom door but she wouldn't stop scratching. I live in a small apartment so I can't really hide her elsewhere, except the kitchen, which has a door. I'm going to keep her in there tonight and close the door. I imagine she'll be making a lot of noise. Is it a good idea to leave her in there with the door closed for a few nights? Do you think this is all because I've just recently brought her home and that she'll adjust and eventually leave me alone overnight?
