*sniff sniff*, so by the end of this I was all teary eyed. each vignette was so uniquely each character and each was so heartbreaking...all of them broken in their own way and the little bits that make them more than than unreachable superhero.

so sad. so lovely. so right.

and i know i've just rambled in sentences that aren't complete but this was beautiful and the little twists (stark knowing it wasn't his blood, the sadness of bruce, a never balancing balancing sheet and Steve!) were so wonderful.

*hugs* Thanks so much for reading, darling. I just had all these feelings after watching the film a few months ago and had to write it all down. Hopefully it's put across how awesome he was and how he'll be missed. Sorry for making you teary-eyed! Much love and gratitude to you for reading and commenting, it means a lot <3

Oh honey this was great. You really got in there and showed each character's personal side beautifully. Their quirks, their idiosyncrasies and what makes them, them while showing their vulnerability for a fallen comrade. *loves* Thank you. It made my day and made me sniffle. Also, makes me want to go back and watch all the movies again to see Coulson in a new light.

Awww sorry to make you sniffle *hugs*. I'm really glad you liked it, hon. It was my overspill of feelings post-movie. I hoped it turned out well and I'm thrilled you think that it did <3 Thanks again for reading and reviewing.

I meant to read and review this story sooner, but I fell behind with a lot of fic this week. As usual, this story is beautifully written, so I'm glad I finally found the time to check it out. :-D

I really love the way you were able to reveal a bit about each character (and their relationship to Coulson) through their choices involving the trading cards. While each reflection was wonderful, I found Steve's the most moving. It's brilliant the way he's trying to capture Coulson by drawing him, as Coulson's way of connecting with Captain America was through his trading cards. I think this might be one of my favourite bits of description:

He spent a lot of time drawing. Mostly it was people from his past, forming out of pencil lines and memories. Then Coulson started taking up space in his head and spilling out onto the pages too. Steve started drawing him more and more, reaching for charcoal every time. It seemed like the right material for the man.

Thanks darling *hugs*. I'm really thrilled that you enjoyed it and that you're glad you read it - that's awesome to hear. It was fun getting into each character's head and work out how they'd feel about the loss of Coulson. Thanks for reading and reviewing. Your comments always make me smile :)
