That Woolcombe Bay feet feeling, as always the best ever

I am now 25 years old. That's gonna take a little getting used to. It was a glorious birthday. Anthony took me out for breakfast and I recieved many wonderful presents including the first series of Chuck on DVD as well as the first series of Flashpoint, and Anthony bought me a Nintendo DS which I completely didn't expect. Although I did spent an unholy amount of time on his Mum's over Christmas (whoops). Then it was time for me to jump into my pretty pink dress and off we went to Katie and Lerys wedding. It was a marvellous thing. The service itself was so sweet and touching, I cannot believe they're married, and I had a chance to catch up with so many people. The food was excellent at the reception too as well the speeches, always a worry. By the end of it, we were sweltering hot with aching feet and ready to head home but so very happy.

Ah Wimbledon is over for another year. I cannot believe how well Andy Roddick played, I am so proud of him. I desperately wanted him to win, but knew that Federer would probably get his record-breaking win. He has beaten Roddick so many times before. Don't get me wrong, I adore Federer, but I've always had a special place in my heart for Roddick and I so want him to win another Slam. It's only Murray and Nadal that can really knock Federer off his perfect game. So here's to the next season, when Rafa has healthy knees and Murray gets even further. The British press is all scathing and depressed about Murray not getting to the final, but hello, he got to the semis for the first time ever and that is well worth celebrating.

So here's an awesome Roddick RPS fic. His POV after losing to Federer at Wimbledon 2009:
