So Give Me Something to Believe...

Well, I am now officially graduated from college and it doesn't really feel any different, but I guess it will once my grandparents leave on sunday and then I have nothing to do since there is no more homework. Graduation was, well, graduation. I gown and hat were of course oh so stylish and fashion-forward. There were about 5000 students that graduated, but thankfully most of them had their graduation earlier in the day. My graduation was the last one of the day and they had started at 10am. My mom and grandma were of course crying, but I was expecting that because they are very emotional people, which is not like me at all. I am planning on having a break from everything work-related until the beginning of the year and then I will be back at the bank full-time and I have some contract editing and writing jobs set-up that I will be doing as well. So, I will have a steady income from the bank and then additional income from the contract work, so hopefully I will have about $7,000-$10,000 saved by the end of 2008 and then I can buy my condo and actually have nice furniture. I already have about $3,500 saved, so it really isn't that far off! I am using all of the graduation money I am getting from everyone to get a new computer, so I don't have to dip into my savings for it. I am just glad I am done with school (well, until I plan to get my master's) and now I can really start planning my future.

I am now going to sleep for the next two weeks straight.
