i do this instead of dishes
so i went snowboarding this weekend, it was pretty fun :) me becky her gf and my cousin aliza. we fell down a LOT but it was all our first time snowboarding also we went to a fun hibachi/dance club place and then to the area casino where yours truly managed to win $65 on a Alien themed slot machine ^_^ yes. and then snowtubing the next day followed by outlet shopping where i spent a decent % of my winnings :D all in all A GOOD WEEKEND WAS HAD
also lots of warm fuzzies in tony's direction, we've been pretty disgustingly adorable lately, but thankfully only when the cat can see and no one else :P FAMILY CUDDLE TIME

and we had been talking about taking a just-the-two-of-us vacation this winter for a while now and things have finally settled down enough at work, and we just booked and bought all the tickets and such to go to the Dominican Republic in Mid-Feb! i'm excited ^_^ mildly concerned, because of the earthquake that just happened on the other side of the island, but excited none-the-less

in other news, i had jury duty, but didn't get called in either day, basically meaning, uh...nothing happened. oh well, i was kind of looking forward to how my hair color would go over. next time.

i got woken up an hour before i wanted to be by a chainsaw OUTSIDE MY FREAKIN BEDROOM WINDOW. the gutters had fallen down and took a bit of the roof with them during a recent windstorm and they decided this morning was the time to fix it. why cant loud construction happen at like, noon? anyways so that put me in kind of a foul mood and i kind of sulked around instead of actually doing the useful shit i planned to do. BAD RACHEL
AND i finished by book last night, "In the Woods" which was a really good murder mystery except the ending was unhappy and it made me sad :( so basically, i went to bed kind of morose, cuddled tony a little, and then got woken up by chainsaws. yup.
ANYWAY so i guess i'll go get some food and maybe clean a little before work. MEH.
