Well with the fuelling sorted (until I decide to have another play with it) I'm left with things to do that all cost money.
I need about £50 for a bonnet scoop, £100 for an air induction kit, and £300 for a de-restricted exhaust. I might just get the back box for now, to add some growl and a small amount of bhp, until I can afford a full system. A back box is about £50 to £100 for a not too expensive one.
So, basically I need to make somehow about £250 to continue. As money's tight I'm looking into ways to earn some rainy day car money.
I've more or less perfected my cookie recipe, and so I'm planning to sell cookies on the coffee kiosk at work, for £1 for a large one, as organic, fresh cookies. The school kids should jump on them, and I'm sure some of the suits will buy them for breakfast with their coffees, as long as they don't know I made them ;)
I'm also using my cousin as a guinea pig for guitar lessons. If I'm any good at giving lessons, and he subsequently learns to play, I'll look into getting paid to teach people to play.
And the third and final ploy to earn some extra cashola - I'm writing a book. I know its something of a difficult game to get into, but there's some good ideas kicking around in my head, so hopefully I'll find a way to get the words to paper in such a fashion as to sell something!
For now, the cookies. I'm getting 100% of the money made from them, which is nice of the fellow who runs the coffee kiosk. So, if I sold even just 10 a day, thats £300 a month extra money. 5% of that will pay for the next batch, so I'll make £285 profit for just popping to the kitchen every 10 minutes to top up the baking trays. Fingers crossed.
