oil change

Gotta be quick, need to get to work!

I stopped at Peugeot for a plug for my fuel filter - they don't do the plug as a single item OR even the fuel pump! I'm gonna have to try alterantives - I've been to Allparts also and cos Lucas no longer exist they don't stock parts - only for Bosch pumps. I wonder how easy and possible it is to change the pumps... a Bosch one is a piece of piss to adjust the fuel settings on!

I got to Nan's and used her driveway to do my oil change which was... a resounding success! Not the slightest leakeage is seen from the new filter or the sump plug, so yay I did something right. I'll have absolute confidence next time. And I felt like a real man walking into the local tip with my can of old oil, tipping it into their recepticle.

The old filter didn't wanna come off, so I opened the Halfords tool I bought - a piece of chain that has a ratchet and that just cut a hole into the filter then broke. So I finally managed to get the filter off with my hands, and replace it with the new one. Filled the oil up, started the car, ran it, all lovely :)

The car already feels better for the oil change and new fuel filter, so it can only get better with a complete fluid change (God knows how desperately it needs new brake fluid, I'd rather not think about it until I've done the job!

So thats that, the oil is fresh, I'm slightest black, and the car runs nicely.
