Hello
I'm back from Chicago!!!
Man, it sucked. I was sooo tired from the all night party, on top of being bored out of my mind. The reception was definitely awkward. It was definitely a bunch of adults and Mike's nieces and nephews, so I was definitely lonely. Plus, they played HORRIBLE music. See, most people feel awkward when rap music comes on. I feel awkward when white people music comes on. I'm like how the hell do I dance to fucking jailhouse rock without looking like a 90 year old woman?? So I decided, after making a fool of myself trying to dance to their music, that it was better to sit down and amuse myself by sipping my Mom's champagne while she wasn't looking and eating all the fruit tarts. By the way, I was soo annoyed with my mother. Here's our conversation:
Mom: "Haven, you're being boring. Come dance again."
Me:"Fine. Can I have a glass of champagne?"
"No"
"What??? Mom, how do you expect me to dance to this stupid music with all these weird white people around without a few drinks in me??"
"You're not 21, so shut your mouth"
Grrr. Well, the only good thing about the wedding was that my Mom and I found out what not to do at her wedding. They actually staged their leaving for the wedding video and the photographer. Gross. I'm the maid of honor for mom's wedding, so I'm going to make sure things are awesome. Also, I'll actually have a few friends there, plus my own, more awesome family. And Mrs. Winkley. Beat that.
THE PISTONS WON LAST NIGHT!!!!! YEEAAAAAA!!!!! It definitely made up for Sunday's game. I hate Robert WHORE-y (I'm so clever). I watched the game at Leslie's, and it was amazing. DETROIT BASKETBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OK, random question, but did anyone get invited to Sarah Larson's grad party? Because I did, but I have noone to go with since Leslie's a whore and leaving tomorrow morning. I definitely want to go so I can try to get some gossip about last weekend :) Aaaaa. Let me knowww.
