Well, yesterday was fun to say the least. G-d I am so tired. I got two video games for Christmas; one of them is Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. It's like the perfect RPG. They take the Star Wars plot to a whole new level. The combat is cooler. You're even given a list of things to say to other people during conversations. Based upon how you interact with people, you get either "Light Side Points" or "Dark Side Points." Once you get a certain ammount of points for either side, pending the fact that you're shooting for one side or the other, you're classified as a purly light or a purly dark Jedi. There's just so many awesome aspects of the game. There's a couple of things that I don't like though. The game is always having to load things. You have to run everywhere; there isn't a quicker way to get somewhere, at least, not yet. Also, when you're about to go into combat, you have to select which target you want to engage. It's nice that it pauses your game so that you can select the various techniques that you wish to perform, but it's just a hastle. There's also a gazillion names to remember. I keep getting things mixed up. You have to pay really close attention or you'll get left behind with a mouthful of made up words. So far it's been really exciting though. I just had my double bladed lightsaber made. It's so kickass with it's violet beam. Yeah, for those of you who are interested in more information feel free to talk to me via AIM or something.
Anyway, last night was fun. I was sitting there playing The Sith Lords really late into the night. Video games have the awesome ability to keep one's attention on them so much that one doesn't even get tired. Or at least this is what I've experienced with a really good game. I went to delete calls from the call history when I saw the clock. It said that it was 5:30 in the morning. I was all, "5:30?! WTF?!" So yeah, I only managed to get four and a half hours of sleep this morning. Slightly on the tired side. What's worse is that my dad had to go up to the boat in Port Orchard today. And, of course, he's feeling guilty about us staying in that house all by ourselves...or maybe he just wanted to get me away from the XBox because he knew that I would be playing it all day. But yeah. Kinda tired, lol.
As for the rude awakening, despite the fact that I didn't really like what I heard...or in this case read, it was welcome news besides. I've lost a lot of faith in the community because of it though, especially the gay community. I don't know, I was kind of living in a fairy tale though. I'm glad that I was brought out into reality. It's funny, from what I can discern, some of what those religious fanatics say about is isn't half wrong. In fact, more often then naught, they're correct. Really sucks to know that I belong to a community that for the most part isn't about nothing but sex to get your rocks off. It's just sickening.
