update
i just read my last entry about the new kitten. turns out it's a boy cat, not a girl. when i went to the vet, they told me, "Stella is a fella." so i had to think up a new name for that poor boy. we are now calling him The Dude. he doesn't seem to mind.
i decided i have to find a new job. had a big blowout with the boss who said he never told me that i would eventually be running the shop while he schmoozed customers. i told him he was full of bullshit and i didn't sign up to be the receptionist around here - i volunteered to answer the phones because he said it was the perfect way to "get to know the business." told him i can be a receptionist anywhere - with a 401K plan and paid vacation days - and if this is the way it's going to be, then i will need to find another job. i'm going to key west in august - maybe i'll never come back.
