First steps in 'real' journalism...

My arm is famous!

So I was @ the downtown Supreme Court today to find juicy stories for the BCIT Radio News lab.

Former West Vancouver Police Chief Scott Armstrong was in court trying to get an injunction against his termination. He was fired after allegations of drinking at the WV station became public. The WV Police has a whole wack of sketchy issues going on right now.

Anyways...Scott Armstrong's lawyer Murray Tevlin spoke to the media outside the courthouse & I had my recorder!

So yes that arm with the black sweater & blue jacket holding the tape recorder on the left side of the media scrum is mine!

I have only seen my arm on Global during the 6pm news with Tony Parsons. But I know CKNW covered it & City TV as well.

Yay for starting to feel like a real journalist covering real stories!
