I have now seen her music video for her first single 'Stars are blind' twice, & let's just say I wish I had better luck channel surfing.
For those of you who haven't seen the video or heard the song you're not missing too much. Here's what you need to know:
Paris rolls around on the beach in a bikini - w/ a stare that says "look @ me! I know you all think I'm totally gorgeous, so here let me roll around & get sand on my face b/c that is totally HOT!" Throughout the whole video Paris makes out / seductively caresses this random man whose face you never clearly get to see. (Maybe everyone has seen Paris & is sick of her & her antics being everywhere, therefore no one wants to get w/ her & really the guy's face is ugly..?) To keep Paris entertained & b/c she probably thought it was the closest she could get to real 'art' the music video changes from black & white to colour @ the oddest moments. According to her publicist Paris feels that "the surf wave was the perfect transition to open the audiences' eyes up to the beauty & colour of love." [Okay - I just completely made that up - but the image of a breaking wave that 'subtlety' changes the video's colour from black & white to colour (& vice versa) is incredibly cheesy. My favourite moments in this video have got to be when Paris is humping / fondling the palm tree. Yah, I guess the guy left her for someone else & all she could get was the tree.

All I can say is that whoever came up w/ the concept for the music video was blind & I don't really think that the stars & constellations are too concerned about their vision quality - they are just happy they can't see this awful video from space.
