I like the vette. its fantastic. I think its a little old fashioned, what with its leaf sprung rear end and all, but hey, it seems to work.
the thing is, the STi is a sedan first, and a fast car second. so as such its very comfortable, it has a long travel suspension that nicely absorbs road irregularities. i know the vette can be pretty punishing around town.
as a go-fast car, the vette is incredible, and for a track day weekend warrior, great value for what you get.
but getting to and from work in the rain, snow, traffic, maybe a light offroad camping trip or two, going up to whistler to go skiing in January... the STi just does the simple stuff better.
