So, the Habs are going to meet the Flyers in the Eastern Conference Finals. It should be a fun series, even though I can't stand the Flyers (bunch of goons!). I'm going to predict Habs winning it in 6 because I think Halak is a better goaltender than Leighton and that will be the difference in this series. Anyway, I'm excited for the first game on Sunday!
On another note, I'm happy that the Habs won against the Penguins because I wanted to see them in the 3rd round for the first time since 1993, but at the same time, I'm kinda sad to see the Mellon Arena close. Maybe not sad, but nostalgic I should say. I've been a fan of the Pens since the middle of the 90's and my favourite players growing up were Mario Lemieux and Jaromir Jagr. So, I've seen a lot of great moments happening in that building and I have very fond memories of that era. It will not be the same in the Consol Energy Center, that's for sure.
