Been quite a while since I updated!
Things are going well for the most part. That is to say, the most important things in my life are going well. I have wonderful friends and I'm so happy I've been able to keep in touch with my florida friends for the most part (the ones I haven't really talked to for a while it's just because we're all so busy) and my chicago friends. And then of course, I know some very wonderful people here in NH. So that whole thing is going well. Jo and I went to a monster truck rally (yeah, that's right.). We both ended up deaf and with balls, but it was worth it because basically we watched utility vans explode and get annihilated.
I have four new little pets. They're called axolotls which are endangered neotenous amphibians found in small parts of Mexico. They're really cute right now; I raised them from eggs and now they're all hatched and swimming around like little tadpoles. They don't have their limbs yet, but if they know what's good for them, they'll promptly grow them out.
I met this guy the other day in one of my classes. He's really nice, but like every other guy I've met whilst being here, he's pretty much just into the whole friends with benefits thing which I a) have no time for and b) think is retarded because it NEVER WORKS. Anyways, I'm looking forward to getting the hell out of school in May. This shit is getting ridiculous.
Also, I have a job interview on Wednesday at a zoo in Arkansas for a seasonal elephant trainer position! It's so hard to get into this field, especially wtih marine mammals, that I will basically take what I can get (and plus, I love elephants, and they're neat, and I'm gaining paid training experience).
Well, I gotta get my ass to class.
