Hm. After doing some reading at the library, I'm a little perplexed. It's always the same formula for fairy tale stories. Knight meets princess, princess gets captured, knight goes to save the princess and defeats the horri~ble dragon and they all live happily ever after

But it's a knight's duty to protect his princess! What fun is a story about a person failing to protect what he values most?

There's nothing wrong with a little surprise twist of an ending!

Or how about this? The knight turned out to be the villain all along!

No way! A knight would never be a villain. If he was a villain, then he can't really be a knight!

Muhaha! Then how about the princess becomes the hero instead and defeats the evil knight~?

I still say there's no such thing as an evil knight.

But the princess helping her knight defeat the villain of the story would be fine! After all, my princesses are a huge help to me when I fight.

Haah... haah... Then you're a knight yourself? Do tell me! What do you feel when your princesses help you out in battle?

You bet I am!

And I don't really know how to describe it... it makes me feel really happy, being able to protect the people I care about.

K-Keh... It looks like all knights are the same! The fact that you have such unbreakable bonds with others gives you more power.

That's one of the reasons knights are so powerful! The determination to protect can beat out any kind of desire for destruction or other things like that.

... The determination to protect, huh?

Ha! Demons don't need such aspects for victory! I only need the determination to win!

But if you're fighting just to win, you're not really fighting for anything, are you? People who fight for something, like protecting their loved ones or stopping someone evil... they'll fight harder than people who just fight for fun.

--Gah! Alright then! Going by your hero logic: If there's a stronger evil than my own, then that will make me fight more harder!

But you're still fighting just to become the strongest! Even if you beat someone more evil than you, you won't be able to beat someone who's fighting to protect.
