What do you know. It's June.

I leave Los Angeles in a week to go to my cousin Seth's wedding in New Hampshire and then off to summer stock where my internet access will be let's say...limited. I'll survive, just don't expect me to respond to email. I do own a cell phone! It's going to be fun to actually be able to drink at a wedding. Woot. Don't expect me to make a scene. My Dad's side of the family is so chill and low key, I'm not expecting much craziness. A big jump from my mom's family that would probably end up singing karaoke and shaking their asses on the dance floor after umm one drink. Yes, mom's side is the black side. Haha. I find it really odd that Dad's side of the family doesn't know I'm gay. I consider myself damn comfortable with my sexuality at this point in my life so it's odd to me that they don't know, but it just isn't the kind of thing that is brought up in conversations with them. I think they'd be fine with it and I'm sure they speculate but not seeing them for a couple years also has a lot to do with it.

I'm really excited for what the summer will bring. For me, summer doesn't really start until I'm on the East Coast again because that's when life picks up again. I miss UNH and being around other people my age. I'm really anxious to get going and work. Meeting the company I'll be living Real World: Lake Winnipesaukee style with will be interesting too. Yay for living in a big farmhouse!
