Now if you're on this page, you're either coming in from my FanFiction or DeviantArt profile, a random stranger, or someone special that I trust enough to share my alter ego with.

And whatever the case may be, this LiveJournal only exists to serve as a connection medium for all my online identities, and also as a medium for my real self to vent at empty internet space and whoever dares to read my rants and raves.

As a quick overview, you'll find only a few things (of varying degrees of value) here:

• haikus - as part of my daily challenge to compose one of those short poems every day
• general personal updates - to prove that I'm more than just artificial intelligence, and because I have no friends to talk to otherwise
• music - because I love the artists enough to promote them all the time
• fanfiction - it's a guilty pleasure that I indulge and waste a lot of time and effort in, only because I love stringing words together
• link - to either my other profiles or to help publicize my friends' work

• Kuruk - a very good friend's FanFiction writing, mostly having written for Harvest Moon, Pokemon, Kingdom Hearts, and Earthbound/MOTHER


• Internal Dialogue - one of my good friend's Tumblr ("I, Jane Yuan, solemnly vow to do something productive, or at the very least exciting, with my life everyday and document it.") And she does! :D


• Alice Syndrome - my cousin's online web comic ("Year 27xx. Hostilities are growing between the Human and Bestia races, and a war appears to be inevitable. The one thing that prevents violence from breaking loose is Dnarlrednow, a large city at the crossroads of the Human and Bestia lands inhabited by the Alice clans.") A psychological thriller at the heart--it's still in the beginning phases of the story, but I'm sure it'll kick up soon enough!


• Tseng's Fairy Tales - a friend's website that he recently kickstarted to publish his own original fiction ("My name is Kevin Austin Tseng, and I used to weigh 220 pounds. This may sound crazy, but I think I lost that weight because of a fairy tale, one my father told to me at night. I believe that fairy tales can change lives.") He's doing some good work and I'm fully supporting him for all the effort that he is putting into his writing--gotta support your fellow writers, ya know!


• Yuto Watanabe's Photography - a friend's online photography portfolio ("My grandpa gave me my first camera when I was in 1st grade--a clunky, old, point-and-shoot camera. No instant preview capabilities. At least it had auto-focus, I suppose. I went through a lot of rolls of film without knowing how much it cost.") Pictures speak more than words--I can't say much to describe his shoots!


• The Language of Food - a professor's great food blog ("The relationship between food and language around the globe.") For anyone that loves food! Where does the word 'ketchup' come from anyway?
