shiver

And yes, while I haven't exactly been keeping up with the haikus, I can assure you that I have been catching up on them slowly and writing about five a day this week. I'm on May 1 right now and here's the haiku for that one:

Shiver:
Careful, pull your scarf
around tight; don't want the cold
to lick or bite you!

The last line sounds awkward; I wish I could just take out the 'you' or something, but a haiku is a haiku, huh?

Anyways, nothing much has been happening, aside from me being dead from writing Zutara for Zutara Week--I still can't believe that I actually went ahead and wrote something for each day of that dreaded week...and succeeded. It's no wonder that I can pull ass to do anything at the moment.

New music obsession = Celldweller. This one man band is a hit. When I was first introduced to him, I didn't like him too much and thought of him as sorta industrial, but I really liked his album Wish Upon a Blackstar. I must admit that he is the perfect blend between electronic and hard rock. The depth of his sound is gorgeous--and did I mention that he's a one man band?

And then since Pendulum, one of my awesome favorite bands took a step in hiatus (like Disturbed did) I have been extremely sad to know that they will probably not be putting out any more music. Sigh, this is what happens when creativity decides to retire--but alas, that is a reason I shouldn't give up writing, huh?  Anyway, Rob Swire seems to have a new project going on: Knife Party. The song "Internet Friends" is pretty interesting. :D
