Well, my summer is going relatively well. I need to still get out of a Moving Violation that I totally screwed myself with. I originally obtained this ticket in April. I pleaded not guilty at my court date, expecting to hafta pay $400, but instead, they rescheduled my court date so I could meet my prosecutor. And therefore, I fucked myself over. I forgot totally about the court date, on June 16th. A arrest Warrant was sent out for me. My dad paid it off, and I paid my dad $250. And now I have a new court date on August 4th or 6th, I'm not sure. And that's a pretty bad thing.
Damn. So anyways I need to let all the other hard rockers who read my LJ to pay attention to this song I'm posting.
Jethro Tull-Locomotive Breath
In the shuffling madness
Of the locomotive breath,
Runs the all-time loser,
Headlong to his death.
He feels the piston scraping --
Steam breaking on his brow --
Old Charlie stole the handle and
The train won't stop going --
No way to slow down.
He sees his children jumping off
At the stations -- one by one.
His woman and his best friend --
In bed and having fun.
He's crawling down the corridor
On his hands and knees --
Old Charlie stole the handle and
The train won't stop going --
No way to slow down.
He hears the silence howling --
Catches angels as they fall.
And the all-time winner
Has got him by the balls.
He picks up Gideon's Bible --
Open at page one --
God stole the handle and
The train won't stop going --
No way to slow down.
