David Chaltas As General Robert E. Lee
We first met Mr. David Chaltas, General Robert E. Lee impersonator at the January F.U.N. Show. Robert E Lee will once again report for duty at the 2013 Summer F.U.N. Convention in Orlando, Florida. Mr Chaltas a historian of the life and times of General Lee often participates in Civil War reenactments. As an educator, he teaches youngsters about General Lee's military career as Commander of the Confederate Army of Northern Virginia in the American Civil War. David is the author of such books as The Legend and Legacy of Lee, In the Shadows of the Whispering Pines, Mourning in the Mountains, & Once in a Blue Moon just to name a few.
Convention guests were treated to a photo opportunity as well as conversations with an "in character" General Lee. F.U.N's Young Numismatists enjoyed a walk through history with both Robert E. Lee and our 16th President Abraham Lincoln. It was certainly an educational and entertaining experience for all involved.

Florida United Numismatists, Inc., is hosting the 7th Annual Summer FUN Convention in Orlando Florida, July 11 - 13 2013. The convention will be held at the Orange County Convention Center, 9800 International Drive in Hall WC. This location is across I-Drive from the new facility in which January FUN Convention is held. The convention opens to the public at 10:00 A.M., July 11th and will run through 5:30 P.M. July 13th.
