CONECA and NCADD often have combined tables at The FUN show & all Central Florida Coin Club coin shows. BJ Neff, was gracious enough to tell us a bit about NCADD and why they attend the FUN Show. Mr. Neff conveyed that the main purpose for NCADD presence at these shows is to provide information to the numismatic public on both organizations. Their secondary purpose is to provide information and assist FUN Members, fellow hobbyists and collectors with error and variety coins. NCADD offers free verbal attributions for error and variety coins brought to the show for examination. Upon your next visit to the FUN Show be sure to stop by the NCADD table and say hello.
Understanding Modern Die Clashes
BJ also offered his time and talent to Summer FUN's convention guests by offering a free educational seminar. BJ lectured on Understanding Modern Die Clashes. Some of the most interesting (and valuable) coins on the market are the product of clashed dies. Error and variety expert B.J. Neff explained everything you needed to know in a fascinating power point presentation on clashed dies.

Tips From NCADD's site
What is a Doubled Die? (DDO or DDR)
Answer: A doubled die refers to doubling in the design elements of a coin. Doubled dies can appear as an outline of the design and/or in some cases, legends and dates appear twice in an overlapping fashion. Some novice believes this was caused in the coining press but this is not true. DDO refers to doubling on the obverse and DDR refers to doubling on the reverse of the coin.
