After the 2012 Summer FUN convention we posed the question “If we build it, will you come” and the answer is YES! F.U.N’s Director of Youth Activities Tony Bonaro & I THANK YOU for participating in the Second "official" Coins & Kids & FOTO FUN event.
Okay, so maybe I was having a “Field Of Dreams” flashback moment. But like the character of Ray Kinsella and his family who built a baseball diamond in Iowa, it was wonderful to just throw caution to the wind and create an even bigger & better photo station where F.U.N Convention guests could take a moment from strolling the bourse floor to glam it up and embrace the bling
Well, I think Every Picture Tells A Story and I have plenty of stories to tell here. Our FOTO FUN Station was a hit and a fabulous time was had by all. Just look at some of these pictures.

Ethan & his brother Erik stopped by the Coins and Kids booth to Spin our prize wheel. However, it was Ethan who had a blast taking advantage of ALL the photo props available at the FOTO FUN booth. We hope to see both boys participating in FUN's Young Numismatists program in January.

For several years I have photographed Christian participating in the Young Numismatists program. He is a serious collector who normally attends the show with his father. This time he was escorted by his mother Catherine and friends Grace & William and their mother Karen. Christian had to be coaxed into a photo session but, once he committed to it he went all out!

I first met Grace during the Y/N meeting in the morning. She assured me she would stop by the FOTO FUN booth and that she did. Grace was up for anything and enjoyed dressing up and posing for me. She was a good sport and a pleasure to photograph.
Liberty

I am fairly sure I photographed Ms. Liberty at the January show and included her in my Tiny Treasures banner. If not this little one has a twin. I caught her talking to Hobo Rollie about hobo nickels or was she really raiding their awesome chest of candy??

Abagail and her father David visited both our Coins and Kids booth and the FOTO FUN area. She was stylin in her boa holding bags of money!

These young women were hilarious! They had no qualms about dressing up and acting silly. In fact, they each took turns switching outfits. Ashley and Alexis starting fighting over the money bags. It was all for show, but certainly brought a smile to every one at the booth.

Braden was an awesome big brother coaxing Alyssa to join him in the photograph, even though Alyssa shied away from playing dress up.
Marcus

Marcus has quite the personality. He loved being in the spotlight. On the last day he returned to the Coins and Kids booth with his friend Jorgie and insisted she take his picture with Uncle Sam, the Liberty Coin and the $5000 bill.

Roman is a total doll with a wonderful disposition. She was sleeping when Emily arrived at our booth to take some photographs with Charla. She slept through us decorating her carrier with gold coins and money bags. However, she woke to money glasses covering her eyes, but was a good sport about the whole thing. She is a good baby and I loved photographing her.

It is always nice to see a big sister indulge her younger brother. Rachel & Jordan had a good time at the FOTO FUN booth before venturing over to spin the prize wheel.

Lesley posed with money bags and treasure. Yet try as she might, little Lesley had difficulty with the concept of putting her whole face in the cut out area. But she was cute as she could be while trying.

I LOVED this baby. Zane was too cute! He visited our booth with his mother Hope who was at Summer F.U.N with Augusta Coin Exchange. I am sure Zane is a future coin dealer in the making. He was fine with one bag of money, but starting screaming when covered in gold and the only thing that quieted him was more bags of money!

I've visited with Jason at several F.U.N shows. He loves Hobo Nickel carving. I photographed him last Summer at the Original Hobo Nickel booth. I was happy to see him at the Coins & Kids booth working on completing a Lincoln Cent Coin Folder and enticed him to my photo lair. :P

Haileigh & Emma were hamming it up for Frank who was directing them and snapping shots on his cell phone for Cindy at home. They worked with all my props and had a few laughs while doing it.

Oh Sean and Neal! The boys arrived with their parents. Neal was a gem taking his time to see everything the Coins and Kids & Foto Fun booth had to offer. His brother Sean is a little dynamo! He was attracted to ALL our blow up coins. He rolled, tossed and stomped on the Lincoln penny before taking a moment to hide his face behind it during his photo. Both boy enjoyed the spin to win wheel too!

I've visited with Aidan, Avery & Addison at a previous F.U.N show. I remember, because they are accompanied by their mom, Erin and that is my name. The girls were fine with having their photo taken. However, Aidan had to warm up to it. But everyone enjoyed spinning the wheel for some prizes.

Louis is a cutie patootie! He is also Y/N Director Tony Bonaro's three year old grandson. This was Louis' first F.U.N. Show and as the photos reflect he was enjoying himself. While visiting the Coins and Kids booth He was lucky enough to land on "Pick A Coin". He chose the biggest coin in the box. Which was actually a medal, but Louis didn't seem to mind at all.

Diego & Gabe Sinsay visited both the Foto FUN area as well as the Coins & Kids booth. They were very excited to talk with Mr. Bonaro about starting a coin collection. They spent quite a lot of time working to fill Lincoln Cents Folders with the appropriate year pennies, before taking part in a photo session with little Jonathan.

When the booth got crazy I was photographing our young convention guests as quickly as possible. Sadly, that meant I wasn't able to have extensive conversations and learn more about everyone. So please forgive me for not listing everyone by name.
