Hey Cedar people! I need your help!
My journalism assigment is in need of some stories from students.
I am writing a story on teacher:student interaction and I need some comments from students.
Do you guys have any stories of how a teacher has either touched you personally, or how a teacher has personally taken time outside of their work hours to help you?
Here's an example..I stayed after school one day to take a makeup test and I had to walk home. Mrs. Daniels was worried about me walking home so she offered to wait until my mom got off work and came to pick me up. But my mom doesn't come home until 6 or 7, so I just said that I'd walk home. Well, she waited at the school until she heard that I safely got to my house. (I had to either call her or email her).
Another example is by Cassie..she said that a language arts teacher touched her brother because she was the only one that could get him to start reading.
So if any of you have any stories about other teachers or Mrs. Daniels, it would be a super big help to my story. Thanks you guys!
