I felt like writing something different.

She slipped into her party skirt, put polish on her toes.
Briskly combed her hair, and looked for panty hose.
A quick brush of lipstick, the clock was nearing eight.
She glanced in the mirror; she was ready for her date.
Johnny came and picked her up in his ’57 Ford.
She looked at him and smiled, with eyes that he adored.
So into the car, and off to the show, she had suggested a thriller.
She had no idea, after the pizzeria, that Johnny was going to kill her.
One good movie, and a large pepperoni later,
Johnny went to pay the bill, and saw her winking at the waiter.
Well Johnny smiled and kissed her cheek, he was really quite the hunk,
But she didn’t know he was thinking about the hammer in his trunk
“She comes on a date with me, but makes eyes to another man?
Well missy, make eyes at this, the shit’s ‘bout to hit the fan.”
He tells her there’s a surprise for her, if she’ll just wait in the vacant lot.
“I’m glad this date is going well,” the starry-eyed girly thought.
In a jealous rage, he came at her and gave her the surprise.
He kissed her cold lips at last, and let her say her goodbyes.
He then let go and gave her more surprises by the dozen.
It’s just a shame he didn’t know, the waiter was her cousin.
