The door closed, followed by suspicious noises, before it opened again, this time far enough to let her into the room. He didn't say anything about the name comment, mostly because he was hoping he could ignore it.

The bento inspected Sousuke back.
"Hey," she said, following him, and standing close enough to peer around him, "I'm not stupid, you know. What's wrong?"

"It's nothing," he replied without turning around. "I was just tired, and I wanted to be outside."

"I did, so you'd better enjoy it!" she teased. Oh yes. There's the over bearing nervous bravado she's famous for again.
"Don't try to change the subject though. I don't believe you," she pouted may or may not have pouted.

He stepped away from the bento and sat down in the nearby folding chair with a sigh. "I don't know. Everything... should be fine. The school is fine, I don't have any demands from Mithril, and this town is small enough that protecting you is easier than it was in Tokyo."
