Gettin' ready for a two month trip to the Southwest. Kind of got popped on me about a week ago. I have to get lots of things ready to be gone for two months. I don't like living out of a suitcase but I am looking forward to the change of scenery. This week is jam-packed with stuff I've gotta' get done before the plane takes off.
Holy Shit luggage is expensive. I'm stickin' with my trusty Duffle Bags and backpack ensemble. Yeah I look like a college guy coming back home for spring break but hell I don't feel much different than I did back then so what does it matter? I'm still in my twenties right? Oh no. Damn. When did I get old? Screw it. Too much planning and thinking. Gotta' turn it off for now. I have a trusty set of bags that'll do the job. I'll be mailing out my tools this week and packing my clothes and scanner with me for the trip as well. Gotta' come up with a soft cushy protected ride for the scanner and antenna. Maybe I can carry it on? I'll check the airline rules. Hmmm.
Because I'm a procrastinator I've never set up direct deposit so I'll be doing that this week. It'll be good to get away from the same place I've been for almost a year now. I know my boss is disappointed but I'm not really sweatin' it too much. He was cool and brought me back a T-shirt from Hawaii.
Oh yeah here's my carry-on list. Suggestions are welcome:
