::tell me everything you want me to be...::
Alright after those 2 posts that really were just me needing a break from homework, id thought id update.
This week really flew by. After being exhausted from St. Louis I spent the whole week playing catch up on sleep and homework. I went to MTP to pick up my bridesmaid dress. Which Im excited to have, I tried it on w/ my shoes and it looks adorable. Sadly im going to need it to be altered, the top especially b/c I look like a little girl playing dress up in her moms bras;)
Ive been using my exercise ball, working on my breathing and lifting weights for teh past 2 weeks. I have seen a dramatic difference, let me tell you. Plus it just feels so wonderful to lay over the ball;)
I rented a couple of movies this weekend. One was "alot like love." I am not really sure why i hadnt seen it yet, but Im glad that i finally got too. While it dragged a little bit in the middle, as most movies do, it had great messages and points throughout the movie. I liked how both of the charactors developed throughtout the moive, although in the first scene oliver and emily were these polar opposites. Emily being the punk grunge girl of the early 90s and oliver being a nerdy boy who wore tall socks w/ shoes and shorts. The later on she was this clingly emotional wreck girl and he was a diaper selling salesman. Yea like i said, it was a little odd. But i loved the movie, so its a recommended rental.
I also saw, "lord of wars." This was recommended to me by Nick. Im glad that i didnt watch it w/ kourt b/c she would have of been closing her eyes the whole time. It was really interesting and reminded me a lot of "blow." Its an interesting way to look at guns that kill soo many people. Another recommended rental, but you need to be in the mood.
Ok finally, this past week Kourt and I went to see Brokeback Mountain. Its a gay cowboy love story. I loved it. Its all about this couple who fell in love but just could never make it work b/w them for various reasons. Distance, families, wives, children, and the fact that it was the 60s. Then in teh end, they realize that none of that matters if you go through your life always wishing and yearning for that other person. That you will never be complete. You can try and fill the void w/ as many things as you want, but nothing will compare to the love of your other half. As you all know Im a sucker for these movies. I just sat there in amazement at how excited they both were every time they got to be together. Whether it was for a few days or 4 times out of the year. They were overcome w/ joy just to be in eachothers presense. Ahhhhh. Well last thing for you all to know, kourt didnt like it, in fact she almost fell asleep. So you if you arent a sucker for a love story, then maybe you shouldnt see it. But if you are, go now to the theatre. OO and you dont get to see any penis like they say you do, it was all lies, but the guys in it are adorable.
::if we could have it all, why wont you let us...::
