Birds 0 Sarah 3
Ok so last fall when I moved into my apartment I noticed that there was a shit ton of birds chillaxing and chirping ALL THE FUCKING TIME outside my window. It got so bad that one day when Kourt and I were sitting in my living room that about 20 birds lined up on my balcony and stared us down. I decided to investigate so one morning i went and looked outside and found the biggest nest i have ever seen in my life resting on top of my air conditioner. It was around 2.5 foot by 1 foot and 5 inches deep. I then felt guilty for being so mean to the birds since they had a home. I decided to try an live w/ the birds. This however, only lasted for about week. Their incessant chirping was waking me up at 6am and making me want to guoge my ears out.
One morning I had it and decided that I was evicting the damn birds. I grabbed my broom went out on the deck, climbed up the chair and shoved the birds nest off the air conditioner and 3 floors down. I felt really proud of myself. I can make it on my own. Me 1, Birds 0
I had kinda forgotten about the birds until about a month or so ago. I was sitting in my living room and heard chirps coming in thru my air conditioner. I jumped up knowing full well what those noises meant. The birds were back. I ran to the closet and got my broom. Leaped up on the chair and shoved another fucking large nest off my air conditioner. The birds were pissed and chirped for the entire evening but i thought I had finally won. ME 2, Birds O
I came home from this past weekend up in MPT and was confronted by an apt that was over 90 degrees. I was fucking dying so decided to go outside while it cooled down, since it was slightly cooler outside. I looked up at the air conditioner and saw much to my surprise that the birds were in the process of making another nest. Pissed off that they thought they could beat me, ran inside and got my broom. I took care of that damn nest. Me 3, birds 0
I hope that they have finally learned, because there is no way in hell that i am living w/ that chirping all summer long.
